only knew of Abandoned Pools after discovering Clone High a little over a year ago but this song really takes me back.

I just watched Clone High for the first time ever on Retro Rerun's channel, even though I was 7 when the show was out, I still have a massive feeling of nostalgia while watching it for the first time and the moment I heard this song in the show I just couldn't help but to miss the early 2000's, even though things were crazy back then, all the games and school times the ups and downs the war and 9/11. I think I just learned to appreciate things even during these crazy and divided times. Like Ponce said, "You gotta live everyday like it's your last".

im astonished as how how they wrote a great character with both good traits and bad traits and killed him off like 15 minutes later and still managed to make me cry. ponce was great, even if his existence was litterally a silly joke to jab at other teen shows at the time. he loved life, and he loved his friends, and thats all that mattered to him.

All of which are from this last decade and most of them released stuff within the last few years. And I garuntee you will find more bands like that to enjoy. There's still really good bands out there. :) hope I helped. 🤙🤙
