god i hated this ending, no clue, no payoff for the setup of that last part, i loved part 1 and 2 was familiar, so i didnt have to watch that one again, but wtf, why did canon fodder not continue? i feel there was a chance to tell the story of cannon shot receivers, either from this family or another cities perspective, also, why give the boy all those dreams and the not follow through with anything..
Albert Einstein is said to have said that he didn't know with what weapons ww3 would be fought, but ww4 would be fought with sticks and stones. I thought the message was obvious, from a land so built upon war making as the US is. Of course, as art, it's not really any real world specific place. What happens is...do we wake up or not wake up?
Cannon Fodder was by far my least favorite. The other two were fantastic, however. Canon fodder was some cliche anti-war pseudo-intellectual jerking @ff.
This would turn any theatre into a rave.

it's supposed to be flash from nuclear explosion meaning their militant city ended up like ww2 japan, but yeah it was mediocre compared to other parts
