- I moved to college! I was so so happy and so so sad as you can see in this video. This is by far on of the most embarrassing videos I have ever posted lol. I did not expect to post it at all but looking back on how sad I was about the move gave me so much reassurance in future change. Because now I know how great it turned out, and I was so sad for such a big change but it was so rewarding and amazing and it is one of the best things I could have done for myself! Although I missed my family and dog so so very much. Editing this video reminded me how God always has a plan for my life and goes ahead of me always. It's okay if I do not know everything at one point because He does.
ANYWAYS. All that to say- moving to college is hard. Or at least it was for me, and I didn't really ever hear anyone else talk about it. So this was my experience.
i’m moving in on friday i get it girl. i think leaving my dog is definitely gonna be the hardest part. but it’s also so so scary to be moving on. but it’s all gonna be so so good!!
Leaving the dog is the hardest part for sure:(( and it is scary! The unknown and such big change, but its essential and it is fun figuring things out and exploring somewhere new. Good luck moving!! You got it:)
When i first moved to college I felt the same way you do know. Its such a weird feeling knowing that you are moving onto a new phase of life and literally to somewhere new. But crying is growing : ) i hope you have a great semester !!

Can I just say this video helped me so much. I justed into my first apartment as a transfer student to a new college and I was crying the whole day and just having so many weird feelings between anxiety, excitment and sadness. I still feel a little homesick and strange living on my own but thank you for sharing your experience too because I think we all have these feelings and just dont always think others are feeling the same. Have a blast at college! :))))
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I am transfer as well! Its nice to hear others relate, I see a lot of excited people and sometimes wonder if I am the only one so sad about moving. But if we are sad about it and are homesick, it means we are so blessed to have had a wonderful home. I hope you have an amazing time at college as well!
