  • The K688T by FIFINE is a dynamic USB/ XLR microphone. After doing my testing with it I can say it sounds decent for spoken word. I don't know particularly about singing just because the high end isn't the smoothest transition but it's very good for both podcasting as well as streaming. Below are specific specs on the microphone itself.

Frequency response is 70Hz to 15khz
Vocals range for a person is 80Hz to 400Hz
Good vocal mics are 80Hz to 15Hz
Sample rate 44.1 to 48000 Hz
    Bit depth of 16-bit
    Max.SPL - 130 dB
140 dB SPL is the accepted threshold of pain for the human ear.
Adjustable Gain Range - 0 to +12 dB
    Sensitivity - -58±3dB
    Shure SM7B needs -59 dB
    S/N Ratio - less than 75dB
For good performance, the signal-to-noise ratio should be more excellent than 20 dB, and for optimal performance, it should be greater than 25 dB
Let me know if you have any questions, I am always happy to help.

so the only difference between the k688 and the k688t is the mount?

Yep, the mount is literally the only difference between the k688 and the k688t.
