After nomount restore control file with rman then startup mount and then start recovery
Hello,
How to find memory total size and used size in oracle ( SGA and PGA total size and used size )
thanks it was helpful
Thanks dear
Great master
Thank you brother
the case here what you doing is manual restore with same DB name .In case want to use a different SID or DB name can do the same by RMAN active duplicate or RMAN duplicate option .
Restore the same, and rename your db after restoration completion.
Watch my another video how to rename database
Watch for rename database czcams.com/video/VwmJXoN-Gkg/video.html

@@ocptechnology Many thankx dear. Operating system .should be same ?

Dear please, could you please help me with the scenario where my database server's operating system has failed and I need to reinstall it. Also the database was in no archive log mode and has no backup. But, the previous database files are still there in the ora home directory. Can I restore the database after reinstalling oracle and using .dbf files, control files, redo log files, pfile, spfile and other files of the previous database?
Yes you can, just Install Oracle and use existing files
Thank you so much for your reply. At last, I am now able to restore a database with such scenario. Only things I'm facing this time are some error message like- ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1, ORA-06553: PLS-801: internal error [56327], ORA-06553: PLS-801: internal error [56327]. Though all previous data was restored. Do you have any idea on this?

can we restore db 11g to 12c RMAN backups from Solaris 10 to Solaris 11 OS, New machine with same Directory structure.?
Db version must be same
@@ocptechnology . appreciated you have done a gr8 job. i hve done restore in different version and different OS version as well.
When you copy spfile and password file to other server then you give sqlplus /as sysdba
That database base should be start with his own spfile
Why database take your copy spfile file
If you don't want to copy spfile from production server then you need to restore spfile from RMAN backup and in case of password file you can create it manually or copy it doesn't matter.
bhai ji 12c ki videos bhi bana lo...
Ok brother
Please perform restore in RAC
Refresh database is same procedure ?
Yes dear, same

Both database version are same?
@@ocptechnology ... DB is working there is no issue. how i can remove Fatal NI connect error...
Action: If the error occurred because of a slow network or system, reconfigure one or all of the parameters SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT, SQLNET.SEND_TIMEOUT, SQLNET.RECV_TIMEOUT in sqlnet.ora to larger values. If a malicious client is suspected, use the address in sqlnet.log to identify the source and restrict access. Note that logged addresses may not be reliable as they can be forged (e.g. in TCP/IP).
How to restore with archive log in different server too?
Same brother, in end once you finished recovery, catalog with archives location and star recovery again simple.
