There used to also be another female player in rlcs or something a long time ago. Think her name was karma if im not mistaken

Alemz car language is composed. Compare her movement to Ayyjay or Zen who do so much feinting and dashing and left stick wiggling. Alemz just drives where she thinks the ball is going and she's usually right.
Viewership is 3.8% female, holy shit that's low. I often feel like the RL playerbase and fandom is kind of toxic, so I wonder how much that factors into it.
Doubt it, it's just because most women are not really interested in videos games or even physical sports. The wnba is a perfect example. Not many people watch it because it's not as good or exciting when men play, and not even that, most women don't watch it either. It has nothing to do with toxicity. it's the consistency.

the female player base for RL is tiny and it offers a chance for more women total to compete with higher stakes
its just more opportunities for women specifically to play at a high level- its not like women are banned from RLCS

@@edgeribbleit's a good question because some of the players in the RL women's scene are transgender women like for example Talliebird was already a good player when they were male but then they switched sides and became regarded as "one of the best female players" which I question the legitimacy of, since she was already good before switching genders. If Alemz is a "real female" it makes the accomplishment 100x more impressive imo.
@@edgeribble first of all as far as I'm aware Alemz is a real woman so I'm not trying to argue otherwise. What I am trying to argue is that in general it is more impressive for a real woman to be this good because of the stigma around women being bad at video games and unable to compete so it's cool to see people like Alemz go against that stereotype.
