Its been very long long time since I have actually sat and watched not only trains and then I watched it again to look at the details that you have done with your layout and engine detailing and on the you're rolling stock, excellent layout my compliments sir, I've watched your videos and watched the work you have done .
I did an ho layout..took me 20 years..was once featured in our local newspaper...but my garage leaked badly during a storm and destroyed most of it...couldnt afford a do-over...so i enjoy watching these!!!
This layout has always been one of my favorites, specifically because of the scenery and how it can easily pass for the real thing. I would love to see what the builder (forgot his name) could do with a much bigger space and a bigger variety of scenery such as big mountainous areas, bridges etc. He would moat definitely be near the top of the list of people I would want to hire to help build my dream layout if the powerball lottery ever called my name haha. I have always wanted to do a modern day theme like this and he has it nailed!
You one of only a few that I have ever heard say ”now that my layout is finished ”. I am not going to lie I am green with envy. Anyone who likes model railroading would love to have a pike that looks and operates like yours. Now the real fun begins. As we say in Boston ” have a pissaa time”

Great layout, has lots of realism to it. I’m an N scale modeler. My N scale railroad is the Pacific West Coast Railroad. I already have scratch built 4 railroad water towers, made an oil tank scratch built for my Southern Pacific GS-4 number 4449 which is my excursion locomotive & the Morning Daylight 10 car set is my excursion train, I also have an N scale Superliner which is the Coast Starlight, 2 cabooses-1 is a Santa Fe & the other is a Southern Pacific bay window, 10 freights cars, 3 Amtrak P42 locomotives. I’m halfway finished with the diesel fuel tanks for the diesel locomotive refueling facility that I’m scratch building.
I loved seeing all those Texas junctions and the DQ was a nice touch!. I like how you run your trains at what seems like the right speed for the type or length- makes it seem very realistic. Too many people have theirs putting around at what seems unrealistic speeds. (too slow)
The only thing I can say is wow! It's so nice to see a model railroad without a washer and dryer or a furnace in the backdrop. If it was a movie it could be entitled Honey I Shrunk The Neighborhood.
Wow! Woke up and my 4 year old daughter said she had a dream about trains so I thought id show her some different kinds of trains and we are blown away by the detail and work you put in to this. Outstanding work my friend.
