We've sent The Shooting Show's crack team northwards to Orkney for some of the most challenging shotgun sport you can think of: goose shooting amid the typically wet and windy weather. Guide Ray Waters has two outings planned for us: first a morning flight with the guns in blinds, and then an evening flight on the foreshore with both duck and geese on the cards. We'll witness everything Orkney has to offer but one thing's for sure: It's not going to be easy...

When a wild specie is doing fine, let's do our best to make it go exciting.

I don't think a lot when away wounded

  • @RobertGriffinshootingTV

This is inland Goose Shooting, it is not wildfowling. Wildfowling is the pursuit of ducks and geese below the high water mark and is a totally different proposition.

Ryan Darby that's wildfowling. 100% of hunters want a clean kill and even the best driven pheasant shoots won't pick up every bird with a pellet in it, unfortunately
