Lyrics
How can people be so heartless?
How can people be so cruel?
Easy to be hard
Easy to be cold
How can people have no feeling?
How can they ignore their friends?
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no
Especially people who care about strangers
Who care about evil and social injustice
Do you only care about the bleeding crowd?
How about a needed friend?
I need a friend
How can people be so heartless?
You know I'm hung up on you
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no
Especially people who care about strangers
Who care about evil and social injustice
Do you only care about the bleeding crowd?
How about a needed friend?
We all need a friend
How can people be so heartless?
How can people be so cruel?
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no
Easy to be cold
Easy to say no
Come on, easy to give in
Easy to say no
Easy to be cold
Easy to say no
Much too easy to say no - Hudba
Almost everyone focuses on how great the 3 singers are but the musicians playing behind them are just as good.
I fashioned my drumming style after Floyd Sneed.
Three Dog Night easily had some of the best vocalists in pop/rock in the seventies.
Chuck Negron, one of the three lead singers in this group, was one of the best singers! All 3 were great singers also! No autotune needed!
The great Chuck Negron , best mustache in rock and roll. And one of the best voices......
Absolutely. Handsome too love his voice wow!!!!!
Slimebag with an awesome voice, hair and mustache ❤
Love the song. It is from the 1967 rock musical Hair. It was written by Galt MacDermot, James Rado, and Gerome Ragni.
That was Chuck Negron singing, one of the three great voices in Three Dog Night (he's the one with the moustache).
Another song that showcases his fabulous voice is "Cowboy". That one gives you goosebumps. Would love to see you check it out.
💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙
I would love for you two to react to more Three Dog Night. Growing up in the 70s this was my favorite group. The first time I heard Mama Told Me Not to Come in 1970 I was awestruck.
Hey human race: listen to these lyrics, they are aimed at you. It is easy to be cold, easy to be hard, easy to be heartless. What a wonderful species we make!!! Geeeessdhhh.😢😮
I was blessed to see them twice back in the 70's. I have never heard a song by them that I didn't like. A lot of music, I think you'll love this rabbit hole. Thanks for your reaction, I always enjoy seeing you two. Three Dog Night is one of my favorite bands from then. God Bless friends
One of my favorites from back in the day! 💖✨🔥
Not really a bad song from these guys. The band was super tight and the 3 vocalists - out of this world!
This band was a never-ending fountain of hits!
Impressive, isn't it?! I remember when it was first produced and it got SO much play time mainly because of it's message.
Listen to Try a little Tenderness Live..Great song!
Beautiful song.
They had 3 GREAT SINGERS! That was Chuck Negron on lead, the guy with the ‘stache! He is still performing their Great songs!
Three Dog Night had a knack for making cover versions that were better than the originals. Great singers too.
The bass line and keyboards make this song what it is.
Great words and reactions! Three Dog Night's song had SO much substance! They were ahead of their time with meaningful messages in remaking this song...in a time when their was SO much unrest...the Vietnam War, early years after Civil Rights Laws were enacted, social injustices, riots and more!! Great lead vocals by Chuck Negron! Three Dog Night has SO many great hits!!! The band had 21 Billboard Top 40 hits between 1969 and 1975! Sadly, the theme of this song is SO relevant today!
This song is originally from the Broadway Musical "Hair" and was only covered by Three Dog Night. That's all Three Dog Night did. They didn't play any instruments or write any original music of their own. They only did cover songs and others composers original songs. Just three very talented singers doing other people's music.
@@allengator1914, yes I remember the song originated from the musical "Hair." I was commenting figuratively, Three Dog Night keeping the conversation going during this continuing time of turmoil in many ways. Great song! Still relevant today! 👍🏾 😊👏🏾🎤🎶🎸🥁🎹💯
The great Chuck Negron on vocals !
A beautiful song from an all-time great band! Thanks, again.
It's just fucking music man ! Grrrrrrrrrrreat music
That's Chuck Negron singing solo for this song. He is awesome.
Soundstage 1975 is amazing! Old fashion love song. Danny had to be high as he'll. Chuch actually kicks him in the behind on stage!
Eli's coming, you hear all three individually.
They are in the Vocal Hall of Fame. Every song different than every other! Amazing!
That was some serious singing!
Definitely one of my top 5 songs from Three Dog Night
From "Hair". Chuck Negron sings lead.
Chuck Negron was my favorite vocalist of Three Dog Night. Saw them in ‘75 and again a few years ago. Awesome.
All three could sing their asses off. Chuck on this one nailed it as was the norm for Three Dog Night! Awesome Band.
That Hammond organ is all!!
This is one of their greatest songs!
Another band that reminds us that the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame is a sham.
Spooner killing it on both channels.
I have most of their vinyl lP albums. Amazing amount of 70s hits.I can not believe they are not inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame !!!
Along with Corey, master vocalists. You cannot go wrong with Tres Perros Noches.
Chuck negroni best mustache in roc and what a voice.......
I love how both you guys get so taken with true, pure vocal talent. Still hoping you get around to "Mama Told Me Not To Come" though, lol!
Cheryl Barnes did this song in the musical “Hair”….great rendition!
My favourite Three Dog Night album. . Every song is great 👍😊 fyi, Three Dog Night refers to a really cold night when folks needed 3 dogs on their bed to keep them warm..
Specifically Australian aborigines.
I had a MASSIVE crush on Chuck Negron, the lead singer on this Three Dog Night song! What a voice, but then they all had great chops. If you haven't yet, check out Eli"s Coming, and Try a Little Tenderness. Never Been to Spain is also a favorite.
Love this song...I have this album too!
Please, please listen and react to "One" its amazing and anither absilute winner with Chuck Negron on lead vocal!! ❤❤❤
Ty guys for this...
3 Dog Night "Eli's coming" Live 1975 it is a must. It is much better with the intro.
IT IS A CRIME Three Dog Night is not in the RRHoF -- they are more talented than most already in!
OTHER HITS: Out in the Country, One, Mama Told Me Not to Come, Shambala, The Ink is Black, Old Fashion Love Song, Celebrate, Joy to the World
Amazing since they led album sales for five years straight at one point. The hall of fame is a joke
And my personal favorite...Try A Little Tenderness. I don't remember it being a big hit but it's so good. Corey nails it. RIP
Another of the big hits from the musical "Hair". This one has kind of gotten lost because the title track and other songs kind of steal the spotlight from it. And of course, it was introduced to a whole new generation as the opening song in "Zodiac". But if you listen to the words, they're profound. I simply love everything by TDN.
Chuck Negron is one of my favorite vocalists from that era along with Burton Cummings of The Guess Who. When they were recording this song, it was done on the first take. Chuck thought he could do better after he did it, but the consensus reaction was "no you can't".
Very good
Chuck Negron.. lead vocal!
You should check out 2 other versions. The one from the original Broadway cast album of Hair, sung pleadingly by Lynn Kellogg. Also, from the 1979 movie, where Cheryl Barnes belts it out with some gut-wrenching anger and disappointment.
Jeezus - Cheryl Barnes. Looking all frail and waifsh in that coat.. then the sound starts. Amazing song, rife with brilliant interpretations.
🔥🔥🔥
Check out the version from "hair" by Cheryl barnes
3 Dogs "Live at the forum" was the BEST album they ever did !!!!
Now listen to One is the Lonliest Number.
No Auto tune
Chuck nergron lead on this song .Cory wells .Danny Hutton the other singers.jimmy greenspoon keyboard.mike allsup guitar.joe schemie bass.floyd Sneed drums.cory and Jimmy and Floyd are gone .chuck left the group in the early 70s.danny still performs with new members.the should be in the rrhf.on the album you have of them chuck on right with mustach.danny on the left .Cory on the bottom.had more no 1 hits than any other group at that time.should be in the rrhf
Live
Incredible performance, right??
You should really listen to Eve of Destruction By Barry McGuire
The Great great Chuck Negron, can sing like no one else. he and Corey Wells were certainly the foundation of the band.
The other singer, Danny Hutton, was the guy who put the band together and had the idea for switching leads and buying the best songs available.
@@ilionreactor1079 OK, right you are, but most of the top hits were Chuck wth 6, Cory wth 7, and Danny wth 2. Chuck commands the soft and sweet as well as heavy if he chose, Cory had that righteous Blue Eyed Soul sound. Danny cld never seem to make his nitch and style as popular as the other two.
how can people be so cruel
Does this dude think he's black? Is he Rachel Dolezal's cousin or brother or something?
