Map is awesome, deep forests are also nice and beautiful in terms of grass and vegetation, trees variety in comprising to GM, where forests are so dull. Also unique city look. Train and train carts assets, can be nice touch to use it across Livonia, GM maps.
Great review, too bad about the mod quality for paid content. Imagine if BI themselves come out in a few hours with the following statement: "In light of the recent events, and the state of the latest cDLC, we are inclined to compensate not only the buyers but also our loyal community and so anyone who has bought the cDLC will be able to get another cDLC of their choosing (50% discount on SOG) on us and CSLA will become a beta now and free for anyone in a year from now when hopefully all issues are resolved, this is also our gift considering the cDLC portraits our homeland and we want all our players to be able to experience it in its fullest, sincerely yours, BOHE INTER**". They really need to compensate us the players and buyers for all the time we waited and all the foolish high expectations they had us endure only to let us down in the end.
I mean, prices set expectations right, and so it did with this one... Tbh for me this dlc is kinda of a remake of Arma cold war but i think it still worth it, i just hope they update this to the point of being in the same quality as GM and SOG
all the assets from the cup mod.. you didn't test out if they have the new driving model and you didn't test the gravity of the map to make sure it was proper.. you also didn't test whether or not they have the new hit models or it's just two rockets and explode.. you also forgot to test whether or not the AI works on the map.. can the planes take off and land on their own can a vehicle make it through the city ???
I do like it so far although I totally agree that there are just as good mods available, it all depends on how much you would use the assets and map from this to make it worth paying for

It’s not a terrible dlc by any means though. The price is just slightly above the tank dlc and we can all agree it adds way more than the tank dlc.

Is it worth it? It looks like better graphic Arma 2 or Arma 3 CUP mods
tbh it isnt for me, i really love the map but almost everything else is reused or from mods so ehhh, i'd go for global mobeliziation instead

No if you dig around you can still find the mod don't pay it's all ARMA 2 assets.. same with the animations and everything
