- Folks, we have had a lot of rain fall here lately in the Tennessee Valley. It has caused some swift muddy water conditions. My plans was to bass fish today, but when I got to the river those plans changed. All I have with me is lighter tackle, but lets catch a catfish or two anyway! I hope you enjoy the video! God bless.

Good job catching those Blues and Channels on light line and coffee water. That muddy water is like most of our water here in TEXAS. We have had so much rain everything is high and muddy and swift. I like the idea of clipping the shiners tail off. Great Job Mr. Richard Gene.

This fish always fight harder when they lay eyes on the legend himself Richard Gene the Catching Machine......the rest of us fish Richard you catch em buddy......some of the best fishing days I have had were adapting to what was happening around me......sometimes opportunities present themselves and sometimes we have to work a little harder for those opportunities......either way take what the good Lord gives you.

I fished my local creek the other day, using shiners and ended up landing a 45 pound blue! Sometimes it just works out. Thanks for sharing
