I like this song. It's has a nice soothing beat and easy going tempo somewhere between pop and jazz and the lyrics are very optimistic. We need more of these kinds of songs on the radio to put more positivity in people's hearts. Music can be a strong force for kindness and affection and uplift people if the lyrics are positive and really speak to the listener on a deep level.
Thanks for calling me an angel, Amber. That's so kind and nurturing of you to write that. I guess I just noticed something in the song that rang true for couples, best friends, and close relatives everywhere. The need to feel "safe and sound" with those you love whether in a moment of crisis or a moment of elation. Whether celebrating the good times or recovering from the bad times. That sense of mental calmness with others who you trust and know are always there to jump in the fray if they see you down for the count. =)
But now we have cancer playing everday poisioning the young people, i am 13 and im completely the opposite of everyone who likes the stupid shit we listen to today
The music industry much like film are all about profit. They play what makes money regardless of the effect it has on people's minds. So entertainment in general takes on a disturbing turn as it potentially contributes to spiking the crime rates as people hear the music and do what it says just because their favorite artist said it, not caring about the real-life implications. Of course it could technically be the same with movies but I've only heard the anger aimed at rappers and singers regarding sex and violence, not aimed at action film actors who do the same thing on film which I think is a little odd. Criticize one art medium but not the other for the same thing, but I guess maybe it's because you don't hear reports of teen violence, drug use, and sex diseases resulting from R-rated films as much as from teens hearing radio songs that describe those things. =(
Considering my wide range of music taste, I find this good as a calming song. The synth gives me that old "PS1-era Gran Turismo dealership" feel, and the rest is just nice-sounding in its own right. Good song, I have to say, and nice high-quality video to boot!
I listen to this son gas I read some fan-fics or some books or maybe things on WattPad. I don't know about it, but it just helps me think and concentrate to what I do.
Reminds me of crawling along at 10 mph on icy roads on my way to work, scared out of my wits. I was listening to this song, trying to stay calm in case I skidded.
