Refurbishing old rusty stepladders...restoring furniture

We are removing the old paint and rust from a stair ladder and will repaint it. The running boards are cleaned and refurbished by brushing, sanding, planing and oiling. A few parts will need to be replaced.

Great restoration. I was taught, when planing the end grain to clamp a sacrificial piece of scrap wood to prevent tear-out of the finished piece. Thanks. Narragansett Bay
