im amazed by this innovation, even as a mechanical engineer i would think that it would be possible to improve much further on this kind of mechanism.

Dear Brian, and al viewer of this video, this video helped me decide to buy a TV RC with SCS, for very expensive money, really nice to watch and great to drive! Spare parts supply super bad, maybe not even possible ..., MV dealers who refuse to change the tire 🤥 because booked out ... Summary: If you buy an MV for expensive money and want to drive a lot, the first thing you bring is a second bike that works. If you pay a lot of money, you may also have certain claims, for example, perception as a customer and for example, the manual which is not very good, but ok demand from MV, on the functioning of the TC ... the dealer knows nothing, MV headquarters asks for contacting the dealer and does not provide any information, sales manager does not respond ... So questions remain open ... From my own experience, I can only say that the competition is much better, in communication and appreciation of their paying customers. In my opinion, MV is expanding the bad image with maximum arrogance and ignorance, too bad ... I'm glad to have another motorbike that rides great 👍

A SCS update after about 17,000 km. It happens that the clutch does not separate and thus the motorcycle goes out. It can happen that the motorcycle simply switches off without warning when starting to drive, noticeably often after refueling (refueling = battery completely full and engine warm) and it is not possible to start off without using the clutch lever. In the workshop it is found that a lot is stored in the error memory. However, this cannot be interpreted. Since the error cannot be reproduced during the visit to the workshop and the error memory cannot be interpreted, by definition no error was found, so no guarantee claim can be made, which is why I was charged for the test drive and resetting the error memory...wow… When these errors occur, constant driving jerks appear, as with my DUCATI. This can be fixed by turning the key so the CPU restarts. After that it's fine again.

the SCS needs to be serviced every 7,500km - this very important information should be clearly communicated on the website
Is not written in the IFU and the service manual you get with the bike !!!
    Technical Bulletin 001/19
..." We also inform you that the SCS automatic clutch system requires every 7500 km the replacement of
the sleeves (Kit code 8000C6986) present on the clutch housing regardless of the annual service, in
order to always ensure a high quality driving experience.
The SCS clutch system’s setting in provided by a special screw positioned on the clutch push rod and
will be executed at each programmed service, thanks to the use of a tool specifically dedicated to this
purpose (code 8000C6941), so as to ensure at all times the correct operation of the automatic clutch. "...
