Sharing the same road with KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers, Ampang has turned from an early settlement into a high dense vibrant part of the city. The roads has been expanded again and again but the traffic volume and population just kept increasing due to the infrastructure.
Along Ampang street, there are hospitals, office buildings, shopping malls, LRT stations, and lots of embassies. Lately, it has been a hotspot for high density apartment as the usage of space increased.
Thus in this corner, we will find a ultra dense cluster of apartments which absolutely juxtapose with the surrounding housing settlements. Due to the pandemic and falling rates of Airbnb, most of the investors are concern because this area has been the hot zone for auctioned units.
But I personally am super impressed with the landscape treatments for this project. That wholesome approach definitely made me forget about the high density location I'm in.

Very very nice facilities in Astoria. The three things to consider if you really like this place
1) the access road is not in good condition due to ongoing construction and potential new project behind astoria in future. It doesnt look like this will improve the next 2-3 years.
2) many cars double park right along astoria and arte. They are cars from govt apartment nearby and also those doing air bnb at arte. Same problem day time and night time.
3) Leasehold with about 70 years to go
Just a personal opinion. What do you guys think?

Nice review, the outdoor area is fantastic. Who invests in this location for Airbnb purposes though... there's no public transportation and the access road is tiny for a development of that compounded size. The units and architecture might work, but the location... ouch.

You should see their brochures. its funny they illustrate a big tree with hammock on it to be on the facilities floor. the small river (like drain) also way below the expectation compared to the brochures ;)

I grew up in ampang, just 5 mins away from astoria area, i dont understand why people want to buy to get airbnb returns. it's not pedestrian friendly, and the public transport there is horrible even though it's at jalan ampang. lrt, mrt are far away and while there are busses serving jalan ampang, the traffic is bad

This video missed out the access to the surrounding development. The roads are badly damaged.. access is narrow and full of cars parking at the side. Literally left 1 lane in & out for Arte+ and Astoria .. and driving there can't even see sunlights as blocks and blocks of buildings surrounding you..
It's such a turn off for me...sadly this is happening in many places and it's become a norm.
