I hope Bandai just builds a permanent park someday. Not just for Gundam, but every franchise they own as well as franchises they have licenses for. They may need to get some loans to build it, but they have enough to justify a whole park. Plus, it would do well with how much tourism is booming in Japan and much of that tourism is from anime and video game fans (as per a recent survey)

If you want it to be 1/1 scale with no support then that is going to take a long time (century or more). If you want it around human size or even twice that then probably in under 10 years.
Robotics engineering student here! (With a bit of an obsession with the RX78 in the Yokohama factory). Having a 1:1 scale is pretty much physically impossible. There are many problems but they can be summarized in: 1. A moving robot of that sheer magnitude would require insane amounts of "power" to work. (By power I mean wattage, but on average terms joule/second). 2. There are currently no available actuators (motors) that can allow that thing to move. Engineers must manufacture those actuators specifically for the requirements and that not only takes time, but insane amounts of money. Talking with a professor about this, He explained to me that motors similar to servomotors would simply not work. 3. Lastly, weight. Weight is a BIG issue when it comes to something that big to move and it is the main reason why it is considered to be physically impossible (heck, even the normal RX78 in the factory is a masterpiece by the standard). Think about a single surface on earth that can allow that thing to stand AND MOVE, if we had problems with tanks like the mous, then this thing has no hope at all. That factor apart, it would collapse under its own weight while moving, structural integrity is a big issue and materials needed would be crazy. We can also include that the motors would need to move under that amount of stress due to the forces acting on the Gundam. So, lastly I would like to point out that I work with humanoids to study. They are a heck of a ride, we need strong materials, servomotores that can handle multiple times their own weight and a strong torque to move. And this is just basic physics, my main focus of study is equilibrium and control via software, the amount of time it takes to smooth things out is simply ridiculous. I seriously respect those who worked on the Gundam, they are real life heroes.
Really, Toru Furuya only has himself to blame. He made a series of really bad & disturbing decisions, and got caught. At the very least he had the decency to not deny the allegations. Gundam and Amuro will live on without him.
So since the HGAC Altron has been released my assumption is that the HGFC Bolt Gundam will be released before the HGFC Dragon Gundam. Just because it would be confusing to have back to back Dragon styled kits.

Really, what makes a Full Armor unit seems to be the color scheme. The OG FA looks stylish, the Heavy Gundam looks kind of muddy. As in, covered in mud.
I'm kind of expecting another P-Bandai set of kits or single kit as a Wing Option Parts set that includes some of the various additional gear from GoL for the suits. Rousette, Engel, Liao, and Armadillo

It does suck that the Capsule Action Striker Pack comes with a Mechanical Clear Strike Gundam instead of a regular one but the Mechanical clear is exclusive to that set. It is the only way to get the Mechanical clear version as the Regular and Smoke clear versions are regular releases.

Is it just me, or am I not getting what you mean by the Shenlong and Altron getting better model kit treatment in the 90's? Because once again, both Shenlong and Altron have model kits now, and in terms of quality they're superior to anything we got in the 90's. If we're talking 1/100 kits, then NONE of the Gundam Wing kits have modern RE/FM grade 1/100 kits, so I'm not sure why the Shenlong and Altron got singled out for the comparison.
Kakarot197 I just watched Gundam seed freedom and I was confused about something if the strike freedom was powered by a n jammer why was it running out of power towards the ending before it became the mighty freedom I thought the whole point was that it had unlimited energy?
They did back in 1995 and they did all 5 of the Gundams from Endless Waltz including the Tallgeese 3 and the Serpent Custom that came out a few years later in 1998 or so.
Bamco wouldnt have had to worry about going under if it would focus more on making good game instead of price gouging their audience with microtransactions. Hopefully other companies see the writing on the walls.

Huh so we finally get an rx-78-2 with psycho frame now we need the proto Gundam mk2 with psycho frame but the Hathaway movie is only 2/3 parts so we're probably going to watch Hathaway Gundam final movie with our kids and to give some context to the fa 7th Gundam being so popular most of the percentages were probably from gbo2 players since it took years for the base 7th Gundam to come to gbo2 it's also a very funny support type ms
Bandai's handling of SD Gundam Battle Alliance pisses me off, the Xbox Series S/X version of the game isn't up to date, the PC and Xbox One versions are at some thing like 2.4.0.0 or something and the Xbox Series S/X version is at 2.0.5.0. You literally can't play all of the season pass content or the Aerial DLC with the Xbox Series S/X version of the game. I've contacted xbox and Bandai about it numerous times and nothing.
