- The heartbeat of America was felt in Houston! Nearly 200 prime examples of @Chevrolet machinery crossed the Barrett-Jackson auction block. The usual crop of muscle-bound suspects - Impalas, Camaros and Chevelles continued to serve as pillars of the collector car hobby and, of course, America’s sportscar, the Corvette, continued to be a favorite (so much so that we’ve given the ’Vette its very own Top 10). Speaking of favorites, we’re in Texas and this is truck country! The iconic Chevrolet Blazer continued to make waves in the collector world, as did some beautiful custom pickup trucks.

As 18-20 year olds, we had no idea the cars we bought and drove for $3,000 are now six figure cars.
Don’t say that out loud, you’re gonna have everyone thinking their plastic mopars are going to be worth something some day.
yupppp....and there were so many to choose from in the paper every week
Wish you and Mecum were on Roku!!! Haven't watched any car auctions in over a year since we cut cable.
Nice car the girl putting the stickers on the car is nicer
That Green Chevelle, an absolute beauty
Enjoyed!!!!!!!!!!!!
35:24 I couldn't handle the guy blowing that whistle in my ear.
I'm 26 and get so jealous of people from the late 60s and early 70s. That 67 z/28 would be so cool to drive. Like today I get to dred the end of the v8 muscle car era
At 26, you still have the opportunity to develop your career into something special that will allow you to purchase one of these beauties. Make your dreams a reality. 👍
@@blueman5924 i hope i can one day.
This is awesome
I had a 69 Camaro RS when I was 19 in 1975
One of many nice cars I had
I just bought a 2023 Camaro SS convertible
Black with gray interior
I’m hoping my family will keep it in the family when I’m gone
That moment when you realize where the 'Nightshade' came from in GTA online.
I had a 70.5 Z28. Who knew , it would be worth this kind of money way back then.
It’s still not worth that kind of money. Auction prices are ridiculously overrated these days.
I felt an attraction to the Chevelle number 8 that was the Battleship Gray with black. I think what did it was the lack of Chrome. The announcer was right, with the bumpers and everything all color matched on that car, it does look right.
Facts that’s exactly the reason I love that one the bumpers painted the same color as the car makes a world of difference I was just telling someone that and the thing is GM still does that to this day
@@zayjohnson7599 muscle cars look good with chrome thats why they almost all came with chrome. So no you are wrong.
Too much chrome can mess up any car to me I hate when people put chrome all over everything
I'll take # 2. Beautiful LS 6 !
Whos the redhead putting papers an sold stickers on the car… gorgeous
I seen a 67 z28 at ocean beach yellow i was jacked
Yo!!! Give me the 71 camaro at the end!! My favorite color and everything.
These aren't cars to be driven. They are art pieces for display.
Para mim, o carro mais lindo dos anos 1970 é o Camaro RS 1970/72..
Who built that 71 camaro??? I wanna see more of it!
Nice. the last ‘71 camaro and the red ‘59 camaro. noice. That strawberry blonde auction girl with dat lovely badunkadunk!
Why are the plates RD 2 50? I'm stupid..Thanks!
We’re celebrating 50 years of Barrett-Jackson this year! “Road to 50”
Facts.
These folks do realize these are Chevys right, good lord
I’ve said this before, if you want to get the most out of your Classic none better than Barrett-Jackson to sell you ride. Merry Christmas to you and yours
People forget u pay a 10% fee
@@jeffm3821 thanks for your reply I understand this but sometimes it negotiated down a little.
pristine is the word
We’re can I see a better video on the Ultimate Camaro 598?
Here for #SoldStickerGirl.
Rick looks like John Elway
Poor chap that bought the last one overpaid about $100K. Guess he really wanted it.
Heavy Chevy package bud
Why does the guy on stage have to touch everything? A real car guy would never do that, so disrespectful!
Cuz he's a me me me narcissistic a-hole....
But there was a Corvette that went for 300K. Where was that?
Check out our Corvette Top 10 below!

Did the auctioneer really want to start that green Chevelle for 2 million? The car didn't even get to $200,000.
the 1953 Chevy pick up was very sweet, almost too nice to drive on the roads though. The Yenko had a manual shift, well, how about that. Good.!969 Camero, seemed over priced to me, $ 147,000 really? A 1972 Chevy Blazer for $150,000 why? S 1970 Chevelle for $ 150,000 dang. a 1969 Camero z-28 rs sold at $150,000 and he was happy. 2019 Camaro with 1200 hp, ok, it should be fast, built by Hennesy, $ 157,000, I guess he got a deal?lol 1970 Chevelle 454 it is nice, is it $160,000 nice? to that guy, I guess it was. dang.A 1970 Chevelle custom, of course another top quality build, for $ 165,000.a67 Camero, oh yea, its special too, lol the hot rod used car market\auctions are crazy expensive. people have a lot of money I guess. thats enough for me.
The last Camaro is a beautiful car but looks ridiculous with those huge wheel.
Agree 100% Ruined it
Not at 200 mph.
500hp with what 10" brake disk..
Chevy. Are. Best
I have few of some these cars but they are stolen from.the old days my dad kept them in his large garage ...they still start up
Which ones?
@@elijahacevedo1923 lots of cameros and trans ams of all but few rare Pontiac and also some great trucks ...i have 3 69s and few corvette including a grand sport 63 and grand sport 92....dad was a huge collector and builder...i can never sell one either ..its too hard to let any car go since theres so much history in each one
@@MrRebustr sell me one
Like what the hell
You pull up in that and somebody Wife is GONE
#9 wasnt even a Z28 n it went for $125k probably started life as a 6cyl n #8 The 70 Chevelle wasnt even a SS. So thats $250k for a base Camaro and a Malibu lol
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Stop putting giant wheels and fender flares on muscle cars YOU ARE DESTROYING THE LINES.
Heartbeat of America, what a joke.
