    When you want comfort on your lightweight adventures, rest your head on the Aeros Premium Pillow from Sea to Summit.
    The outer is made from a soft brushed 50D polyester stretch knit face fabric with curved internal baffles to cradle your head. It’s easy to fine tune, inflate and deflate this pillow without a hassle as it has a patent-pending mini-valve, with synthetic fill for comfort, and support thanks to the strong TPU bladder.
    In this video, our gear expert Ben tells you everything you need to know about the Aeros Premium Pillow from Sea to Summit.
    He starts out by comparing the sizes in the range, and then talks you through the dimensions, materials, and insulation. Ben then shows you how to inflate, adjust and deflate this pillow - so check it out above for all the details.

    After many years, the light blue valve insert piece fell out of my Aeros pillow. I sent a message to Sea to Summit and they shipped me a replacement piece for the valve insert, which I just installed. Good as new! Thank you, Sea to Summit.

    Great review mate. That’s sooo cool. I’m loving the little cut out to tuck into neck more and that little needle release valve thingy. Very clever.

      I reckon they are the best inflatable pillows around. ~ Ben

    Wondering what the difference was between this and the old one, just looking, it's just the material on the outside.
    We have 4 of the older aeros large, and they are amazing, highly recommend them, great for the family. If you have sleeping bags with hoods, you can put them in the hood and it will hold them in place. I need to get another one, as one of the kids is now old enough for their own pillow and I get a new one :P lol

      I'm pretty sure it is just the cover, possibly a slight change in the size of the valve, but I can't recall exactly sorry.
      I think the old covers were removable, this one is fixed but you can still easily give it a clean. ~ Ben

    Great review! Do you think this is thick enough for side sleepers or should I go for the large?

      I'm a side sleeping and have both - I prefer the large!

    Snowys is about as dangerous a place for a consumer as Bunnings is. Go in to buy one thing only, walk out with four items and not the thing you went in to buy in the first place!

    Do the Premium and Down have temperature ratings? Are both good for freezing cold situations? Or is one better than the other?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety +3

      Not for pillows, MarinosCh, but the down or foam filled pillows will offer more insulation than the air filled ones. It's more important to make sure you have a good mat for insulation from the ground. ~ Ben

    I have one of this and it is comfortable, but it slips away on an air mattress when lying on it, i have to keep adjusting, is there a solution?

      Sea to Summit have a pillow lock tabs that come with their hiking mats, but they don't sell the separately. You could try contacting them directly to see if they have any they can send you.

    How do you stop it from sliding about?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem

      Sea to Summit have a pillow lock system with their mats to address this, it's simply some hook and loop take on the mat to secure the pillow. If you don't have a Sea To Summit mat you could try and do something similar with some self adhesive hook and loop tape.
      Otherwise I'd suggest tucking it into your sleeping bag hood.
