INGREDIENTS I USED:
Baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 mins. (Time may vary depending on your cake pan and/or oven.)
3 Cups AP Flour
3 Cups Sugar
6 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
2 Sticks UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
1 C Milk (Room Temperature)
1/2 C Crisco
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract

I made your mommas pound cake today. It is so light and moist. I never considered adding the extracts in with the butter. I even use greasing and flooring my pan. I give honor to you and your mother. God bless you sweetie.

What an awesome tribute to your mom's legacy. Brought back memories of my mom's pound cake too. She used regular flour & greased the pan with Crisco & flour. That is how I learned to make all cakes. The cake flour was something new my older sister first learned to use once my mom "retired" from baking.
