As a Wizards fan, thinking of old John Wall makes me nostalgic. As much as I'm loving the new look Wizards, there's a part of me that will always miss John.
You know what bugs me? The media or people never say “this is the best the wizards have been since wall before the injury”. It’s like …not a single person acknowledges that the wizards were trash of trash beofre wall arrived, then it only took him 3 years to get the franchise to 4-5 seed territory, Carries them to advance in the playoffs 3 times in 4 years, then has another playoff trip and takes a 1 seed 6 games as an 8th seed when he was just returning from
Knee surgery, and then since the year he got hurt 30 games in? Not only have they only won a single playoff
Gmae, but they STiLL haven’t sniffed .500 for team record since, and wall had them .500 or better 5 years in a row until that 2018/19 seaosn where he barley played and battled plantar fasciitis since the start of the year. I’m so happy the wiz are finally looking legit again, but I’ll always be pissed wall never gets credit.
Do you know ESPN did this study where they took all of the 5 time+ all stars ever to advance in the playoffs, and they added up “points” for each of their teammates, coaches and executives. Wall had the lowest total of “help”
Points out of ANY of the all stars EVER to advance. And he actually did it 3 times lol. He’s so disrespected and he’s just had the worst luck in areas he can’t control. Heck, he never even get the credit he deserves for going from a 7 percent 3 point shooter making 3 in an entire season to a combined 34 percent shooter on over 4 attempts per game for the last like 6 years of his career, including 38 percent on catch and shoot the last 6 years. It’s just never fair for John. I always wonder what it would be like for him if he were drafted to a truly competent team. People forget that he had to deal with guys like Nick young Javale McGee and Andray Blatche having a big role on the team his first 2 years until they finally realized wall had all the talent they needed, they just needed to get some mature people around him. Literally the FIRSt year those guys were gone, once wall came back from missing the first 30 games he led them to what would have been a playoff record, and from then on they were a playoff team/.500 or better. Dude also has a top 6( maybe it was 7th?) MVP finish during one of the craziest individual season seasons we’ve seen. Dude made All-NBA during a season where prime Kyrie Irving didn’t even make it. That year he became the first and only player ever to record 1800 points 800 assists 150 steals and 50 blocks. And ALSO followed that up having the only season ever where a player averaged at least 19.4 points 9.6 assists 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks across the board. Heck, in NbA history no one else has ever averaged a CAREER 19 points 9 assists 1.7+ steals and 0.7+ blocks. Like ever. He’s the LeBron of point guards, but like LeBron, he isn’t the type of player that will shoot so much he can will a team to a decent seaosn by himself. But if you put anything close to decent players around him who knows their roles? Dude will at least threaten to take down ANY team. Again, dude never lost to a single team in the playoffs who wasn’t a 1 seed! And never lost in less than 6!

People really forget that there was a time where the top 2 PGs in the league were Steph and Russ and that 3rd spot was CLEARLY John Wall
And not only that, but even the media who hates Wall and diminishes his career was arguing that Wall might be the best Pg in the entire league depending on how you want your guy to play the position. This was when Russ had already lost in the first round and Wall had just led the wiz to back to back huge wins to tie the series 2-2 against Boston, having stat lines of 20-16, 40-13, 24-8( 3 qtrs) and 27-12 at that point in the seires

Kenny, you should make this a series. Have a player who is “washed” or who we didn’t get to see at their full potential ie. Michael Redd, Derrick Rose, Brandon Roy, etc. You could even do busts and try to revamp or re-do their careers.
Kenny you already know why I’m here… The people want it: take the most efficient three point shooters of all time (maybe top 10) put them in a draft class, change their 3 pt shot tendency to 99 and see who really has the strap.

Did you get to see any of him last year amidst that terrible situation he got stuck in? I think a lot of people forget or missed how great he was last year before he piled up more small injuries during the second half of the year trying to carry a pathetic team. He even joined Mj as the only players ever to score at least 50 in their first 2 games after missing 2 full years. Crazy! Dude was legit not even in game shape and feeling comfy and was balling instantly. But he had to deal with harden sabotaging and then after harden got traded, wall did lead them to those 6-7 wins in a row but then had to deal with wood and eveyone else going down. But the thing is, he kept playing SO well even during the losing streak. He was being trapped and the entire D was focusi on him at that point but he still averaged around 24 and 8 while harden was gone and before the break. Crazy for a guy coming off achillies

I don't know how hard this challenge will be so here are a couple different ways to execute it.
Version 1: No one on your final rotation on your team could be teammates in the past at all.
Version 2: No one on your final rotation on your team could be teammates in past 10 years or adjust the years to something you think would be a hard but possible.
This is a three year challenge to win the championship but remeber every year you have to rebuild your team because those players will have been teamates.

Bro, great Video! I’ve been watching all of your videos and they’re lit af. You should try to get Moses Moody into the Hall of Fame. Since he’s in his 1st season, you have a great amount of time. You can easily use Klay or Curry to mentor him and start Moody as SG and trade Klay away for Simmons to be a 6th man. I feel like Moses Moody is one of those players that it underrated in 2k. Great fan! I’d love to see this happen!
