Tributes to the icon of The Doug Mulray Breakfast Show on Triple M Sydney come from the founder of Triple M Rod Muir, Program Director at the time Charlie Fox, and Doug's colleagues on the show Dave Gibson and Andrew Denton.

He is a legend and there's never been a radio show like his and never will be. Without him, I'd never have known Fred Dagg or Dr Poo or all the incredible characters and songs he and his team created on 2MMM. There were so many times I missed the bus or train because I had to keep listening.
I grew up a DOUG Dependant .. still the best radio show of alltime .. I long for the days of Gloria, Rollin Rolladoor, Madam Zenda and co.
Indeed his album ‘Nice Legs shame about the Fez’ was the first cd I ever bought ... thanks for the many many memories Uncle Doug
I remember him asking Peter Fitzsimons the colour of his kids eyes, Peter couldn't remember and then turned it back on Dougie n said, ok then Dougie ,what colour are Lizzies eyes? to which Dougie replied.... they're brown... all three of them !!
Doug was responsible for so many classic characters. I especially liked Bogdan the Turnip Boy (a general send up of all those SBS dramas and movies).

I grew up listening to the legendary Doug Mulray when he was on 2MMM, and he was hilarious.
Sydney was so much better with our Uncle Doug.
Never forget the time he turned up in the servo that I once worked.
A true Sydney legend.
If Robin Williams thinks you`re off the wall you must be close to the top of your routine. Vale Mr. Mulray, thanks for saving my sanity a few times.
