- Ballistic got some new perks in the mid season 20 patch! In this video I break down briefly what they are, their uses and which perk combo I think is best!
I have over 2,300+ hours on Ballistic + 42K Kills + #1 title on PC for kills on Ballistic, and these are my thoughts on the perks so far! I hope you enjoy it!

I started playing ballistic and I loved his kit. I love to watch people better at the game than me and I found you. My ballistic skills have gotten a lot better since I started watching you and now he is definitely my main. I have about 415 kills with him hopefully I can keep climbing and try to catch up to you😂

I would like the Speedy Whistler to get a buff to make the choice a bit harder, something like having the speed boost last longer or having the overheat activating the speed boost again would be nice.
Right now it feels a bit weaker than its perk counterpart from Fuse because with him he already has 2 tac charges (with a shorter cooldown than Ballistics') and he gets the speed boost continuously while it does damage, so a little buff that can help Speedy Whistler match the speed boost benefit/uptime to the pre-existing Knuckle Hustler would be a good change.
I still default to getting an extra tac charge because I can get easier and more consistent value from it than the speed boost, but I would like trying to play more aggressive with the speed boost but I feel it's too hard to make full use out of just 2 seconds
It gives them a slow affect but it's not by much

I was excited for the speedy bullet, but when I tested it out, it's underwhelming for me. It feel like it doesn't last as long as Fuse's speed boost or Bang's speed boost, which is understandable, but it lasts such a short time that it almost doesn't make a difference for me. I don't get much utility out of it since I spam it as much as possible, and I may not always be pushing when I do.
If it lasted longer, that may change things, but I find using the Care Package Insight to be more useful since Evo points are important, and I get to use it to indirectly scout for teams in the area, or just get a weapon that a teammate or I would want to use. It's definitely an improvement from the previous iteration, but it's still not quite where it makes a huge difference in how he's played. Double Whistler is honestly the only perk I care for. It's the only game changer for me. I honestly expected them to add a tactical/ult cooldown perk, overheating duration perk, or even a sling-related perk, which I feel would enhance his kit even more than it already is.

tbh i had an idea for his blue perk instead of care package scan they add a perk that gives you 50% of your tac cooldown on successful overheat
Buff idea: How about his sling weapon leveled up along with your evo shield? (Blue shield - blue attachements for your sling, purple shield - purple sling, red shield - gold sling)
Good idea prob just a couple of 0’s and 1’s but ea and respawn don’t care about the game only the money

@@niclaswa5408 because we already get his sling as a gold weapon with gold attachments? why would i want a blue weapon when i use his ult?
are you saying his sling is passive and he can use it anytime with attachemnts?

Would be nice if he had a cool down reduction on his tactical when you get a knock while using his ult
I always pick lasting bullet and extra bullet. So I can be aggressive and defensive whenever I need to be.
This event is a big W for the Ballistic perks
Also a L one for not being able to buy that skin.
That’s definitely how I run him. I prefer a rushing playstyle and his perks are best set ups for finishing squads off!
Hey tide, ballistic main here, do you think the r99 is good in the sling? I’m enjoying using it right now
I think its okay! R99 got nerfed a lot, + with the digi nerf, I don't really use the gun at all in general, tbh. In the sling, all buffed, I can see it being decent, but I would recommend trying some other guns out as well that haven't been nerfed as hard as the r9!

I agree with having two whistlers and lasting bullet because ballistic literally becomes a controller with these perks!

hey tide, i don't play ballistic I'm a Rev main but anyway i wanted to know if you have any tips on how to become better on MnK cause I'm on roller at the moment
I have about 9+ years of mnk experience, playing a variety of FPS games and just using mnk in general. It takes a lot of time, everyone learns at different rates, someone with 2+ years experience on mnk could be infinitely better than me (and a lot are) so its all about the approach.
Aim training can be useful as long as you don't get to bogged down in the scores (unless you are playing aim trains for the scores, but that's a whole different thing) and you are playing them to improve and transfer those skills and muscle memory to games like Apex.
Also sens matters, have a play around find what works for you but the general consensus is, the higher the more flash/flicky and the lower the more consistent and smoother and less flashy the aim will be. Slower can be harder to learn but uses more of your arm muscles which build more and better muscle memory. Also your wrist has a lot less muscles in so controlling the wrist and having most of the aim on the wrist for most leads to inconsistency. However everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Some people have very could mouse control so higher works and some people struggle and opt for lower for smooth tracking and more consistent shots. So find what works for you, a rough guide would be 800dpi 1.2-1.8 are safe ranges to work in! 1600dpi is also good and 800 and 1600 are the two most common dpis!
Final tip, play the game! MnK is way less consistent due to no aim assist (sorry to be that guy, but it is! MnK is the better input IMO but AA allows for consistency and can't replicate), so don't put yourself down if you notice that; all of us deal with it!
Play the game, enjoy and find what works best!

its a shame his perks arnt too amazing compared to alot of other legends, he defo needs more of a buff to compete evenly with everyone els, w video though bro!

I'm happy as is, a little buff here and there would be nice but nothing too crazy, I like the limitations of Ballistic. You have to rely more on your mechanics to be a good ballistic, like many legends, Newcastle included!

IMO Ballistic should have 2 bullets by default because as of right now his tactical is the worst out of all the assault legends. Maybe have a purple perk to widen the area of the bullet.
