Just got mine, in the ebony wood scales. Bit of button stick right out of the case, and a little small in my hand. And the mono positional clip makes little sense, but I digress, I am a righty after all. Also, I do wish they had gone for this blade shape on the Large Pyrite format, but it is what it is. And that is very very classy. A co-worker and fellow knife enthusiast took one look and asked for the link I bought it from. It’s my first experience with their powdered steel recipe, so we’ll see what’s what when I unbury the strop from the sharpening door. Gonna use the factory edge for a bit first, just at work at the grocery store, and on date night. 🖖🏻

Last year, I was torn between the Pyrite Alt and the Vision FG, and I went VFG since I already had a button lock in the Kizer Swaggs Sway Back.
But, now I’m glad I waited since I love the Bowie look way more than the Alt.
However, I’m still compelled to wait for a more premium steel, tho I’m not sure I will be able to hold out. 😂
Then again, before I buy any new knives, I really oughta at least get some Wiha torx bits and a driver, as well as a respirator and filter, since using my WorkSharp Ken Onion Knife & Tool Sharpener with just a KN95 was not so wise, tho I only did that a handful of times, so hopefully the damage done is minimal… 😅
I also probably should get some sort of food safe oil for my blades, just in case I use them to open food packaging, which is rare, but I’d rather be safer than sorrier. 🙃
Finally, uh, what is De Niro up to? He’s strong arming Caribbean and other locales to build hotels and resorts, or at least I read a rather upsetting story about that from The Intercept a few years ago.
