MJ did a lot of amazing dunks and acrobatic shots with the Black Concord 11s in the 95 playoffs more than what he did in the 96 playoffs with the Bred 11s.
Facts 💯. He had a bad back during the 96 playoffs, hurt it in game 2 of the first round vs the heat

Thanks for another MJ gem! I commented on another video of yours talking about this MJ from the ’95 playoffs against Orlando. The explosiveness was on display in this series. The skill set was wasn’t fully there yet. When he brought out those particular AJ 11s I didn’t know what to say or do lol! I was excited beyond belief! Those shoes with the 45 on the back are legendary. I still say if “this Jordan” was to enter the next season which was only a few months later he would have really been back to his old self. The skills set at that time was on display for the 95-96 season. I know he hit the weights and gained some muscle, but “to me” he was less explosive then he was in the ’95 Orlando playoff series. Nike is a marketing wizard lol!

He switched from the black 10s to the white 11s for game 1 and 2. The NBA fined him for wearing a different shoe color. So, in game 3 he wore a pair of black Penny Hardaways. For games 4, 5, 6, Nike made the black ones. The 45 was the jersey number he had on in game 1.

The Air Jordan 11 is my favorite model out of them all. All the OG color ways are awesome. This shoe is probably my 3rd favorite ( black& red and concord's are 1 and 2). Dope vid!

I remember I watched a video from a sneaker CZcamsr by the name of JumpmanBostic he clarified that these are called the black concord 11s not the space jams but of course we’re going to call them that because of the movie I still call them space jams myself and can your next upload be highlights of Michael wearing the Bugs Bunny 8s? Those are a dope classic 8 as well

Black Concords for the return and 2016s being a mesh between Black Concords and Space Jams.
Like to call the 2016s ConcordJams myself.
Different Concord:
My theory is Black Concords came into existence due to the fines and were a rushed job thrown together with the upper that would to be used on the upcoming BlacknReds and the rest coming from the Concords.
Same bottoms carbon plate patent leather and tongue tab, only new addition was the stitched jumpman in purple.
When Space Jam came along the idea was to use the Black Concords however production on the Concords themselves had long since passed thus they recreated the mold using a different purple vs the original. Perhaps it was an intentional or unintentional difference? Only they know the specifics never the less the Space Jam 11 was born.

2016s featured the different concord seen in movie but everything else was a nod back to that rushed PE Black Concord.

I had the Concords, then believe it or not they were called The Columbia's, but remarketed as AJ11 Legend Blues, & then The Breds oc! Senior Prom shoes, Black Tux w/Concords

@@mannyneva1760 dude.... Pippen for Kemp? Come on. Kemp was nice but was nowhere near as versatile as Pippen was. Horace Grant was a big factor to why they lost that series also. They had no one to match up with him and they corrected that by signing Rodman the next year ( even though he would alternate guarding Shaq).
U can't tell me that the pair in the beginning when he's laying down and they are right next to him, aren't a PE Version of Barons 11s that are only available in low tops

Great video bro! The Black Concord AKA Space Jams had 4 different tongues. The 2000 release said Jumpman Jam, the 2009 version had Jumpman Jordan as well as 2016. I’m sure MJ had the “Jordan Jam” and the “Space Jam”

I’ve never considered them space jams back in the day. They were just the black Jordan 11’s if these are space jams then we would have to also call the Jordan 9’s space jams too since he did use them in the movie.

Since i returned my pair, everyday i regret it. Best shoes of all time with the Air Jordan 8 Bugs Bunny. He played so well with the SJ and after with the other 11! If someone has a second size 9 unds, send me a message. And yes they are just the Space Jam not the Playoffs or PE. He played with the SJ and made the movie with the SJ. Same Colorway with 45 and 23, what else? The colorway determines the name of the shoes, that's all.

Nike just doesn’t make sense to me, if you’re gonna make the space jam, then make it. But if you want to make the back concord then tell that story, which is still an interesting story, I refuse to believe Nike made a mistake and they have to know their own history
