Jack Collins as the reporter. Jack Collins was one of the most ubiquitous character actors, particularly in television.

It's just not the same old Chunky from the 60s. I tried the new ones and never again.

I agree ONE-HUNDRED-MILLION PERCENT!!! I was a kid when Arnold Stang did this commercial, and it was a special treat to get one, especially during Halloween. The original product was made with milk chocolate, brazil nuts, cashews and raisins. Now the chocolate has an artificial phony taste, no more cashews or Brazil nuts, but peanuts instead, and, of course, preservative "stuff". IT JUST AIN'T THE SAME. But I've found recipes online where you can get quality ingredients and make your own at home the way the original Chunky bars were made. They taste just like the original quality version. :)

@@robertatkinson7258 I would've died if I tried that; I have an allergy to Brazil nuts.

I remember never being fond of this candy as a kid. Back in the early to mid 60’s, it was unique & seemed HUGE-a bit under two ounces and it’s shape was unique-we” re talking a chocolate trapezoid. But I cannot stand raisins. To me, they’re unemployed ticks and still irredeemable even if mixed with Brazil nuts,& milk chocolate. Ick.
But I also have a memory of Chunky having a counterpart with a less gross mix of nuts and raisins-pecans, maybe, but that wasn’t until I was older and despite having matured somewhat, I still have never tried a Chunky. It looks good, but those damned raisins!
