    Beautiful! What a wonderful thing to do! Children will surely love watching the fish etc. They need something like this to take their minds off whatever they will be going through at the hospital. So thank you for volunteering and thank you to Osae for donating such a beautiful tank set up! I am looking forward to seeing the next video and learning more about this setup, it's quite impressive.

    Hi Jurijs, what a great present Oase have donated, it will bring the kids and families hours of pleasure. Well done also to you,for giving your time freely to set up and maintain something like this for them. I would personally go with a full nature set up with lots of different textures and colours ,with shoals of small fish or possibly Angels only. I think that an iwagumi would look a bit dull although from your point of view it would be easier to maintain with less trimming . Whatever you finally decide to do I’m sure will look amazing and i cant wait to see what the next video brings us . All the best,Martin

    Hi Jurijs, great explanation about tank an cabinet. Thank you for that. About the hardscape and layout, I think triangular shape with stones and wood and on the short end beach with sand are the best mixture and giving fish space to swim also good looking for children. Good luck with choosing the best option. ;)

    It's nice from you to volunteer to keep the aquarium in a good condition. For a style I would say a combination of wood and stone. It's my personal preference but I think it looks also more interesting, you can put plants in between the wood and mosses on the branches. The stones giving it a more natural look.

    Curious why you r not gonna use the bottom drilled filter entrance, cool feature man, I like it also that the tank fits the cabinet and can be close to a wall. Very nice innovations by Oase. I think it's cleaner then a rimmles tank. Especially with kids around , no cords or filter hoses on the sides,perfect. Very cool to spend your time there Jurijs.

    Jurijs...i think a simple minimalistic style with driftwood , white sand (no carpet plants) would look awesome.
    Some bolbitis, narrow leaf java fern, anubias nana, buceps and lots of various types of mosses....a greyish white kind of sand as a substrate layer would look beautiful while providing an impactful contrast against the dark background of the tank....?
    Some bright yellow coloured male guppies with amazing personality...would be such an eye candy to the children....with some bottom dwellers and shrimps...🤗🤗😍

    Thank you Oase, a great initiative. I have a question for Jurijs: when I look at the output (lumens) of the Oase lights, they don't come anywhere near the minimum for Tropica plants (as on the Tropica web site). I was looking at the Highline 400 specifically and the max output of the bulb is only about 10% of the minimum for 'Easy' plants. This puts me off these tanks! Can you comment on this please? The size of the 400 suits me well as I don't have the 60cm+ depth of equivalent aquascaper tanks (e.g. DD 1500).a

    • @JurijsJutjajevs
      @JurijsJutjajevs  Před rokem +1

      I would say the communication on Oase website isn’t perfectly clear. Ie the highline 400 classic LED kit has 2x 28watt led tubes with 2950 lumen each. That’s 5900 lumen total. Divide by 400 liters and you get 14.75lumen/liter which is exactly within the Tropica recommended range for Easy category plants. You can dbl the amount of classic leds for a total of 4, which will get you to 30lumen/liter which is Tropica‘s suggestion for Medium category plants. Or you can go straight to the highline premium if you want the ability to customize the color and Intensity
