You know when you really, *really* connect with a brand to the point where everything they release feel personal?
That's me with Shiseido since before the Internet was invented.
I was primarily attracted to the brand because their artistically director/makeup artist/photographer was the genius Serge Lutens (creator of the first makeup line released by a fashion designer: Christian Dior (in the 1960s).
Water under the bridge and all that, but I still have a soft spot for Shiseido, and this new skin tint just might be the kindling that will stoke my fire.
I'm all about complexion products, but I don't want to jump through burning hoops to look great.
If a product pass the ultimate test - looking great applied without a mirror - that brand will get my trust fund money immediately.

I’m just such a HUGE Danessa Myricks products 🥰 I recommend them allllll the time for the simple fact that they just WORK! Easy to apply and longevity to each product. If you haven’t tried her Colorfix pigments or Vision Flush liquids… then you don’t know what you’re missing.
Try the Nutcracker Vision flush , it works beautifully as a contour /bronzer or as a cheek blush. And her new shade Coinz in her Colorfix is a beautiful shimmer shade for the eyes! And it lasts all day 💯

Everything worked so well together Michele! Just beautiful. I absolutely love cream blush, and I'm 60. They do work well on all ages of skin!

I just got the Athr Beauty Desert Sunset palette and it quickly became one of my faves, if not my favorite ever. Most stunning I have for brown eyes. I love the Rose Quartz on you and am now tempted to grab that one, too!

I would have bet money, by the promo photos, that the Danessa Myricks lip and cheek palettes would have been too sticky and glowy. Happily, that's not the case. Everything looked lovely! 😍

For the Rose Inc concealer, you might want to try LX 030 instead. It's way less peachy orange than the LX020 but is still similar deepness in tone. I have a very similar skin tone to Michele and the LX030 works for me. LX010 was too light for me.
Edit: OK so I went to look at my LX030 and it's a teensy bit too dark, but the only other shades are 020 (too peach/orange) or 010 (definitely too light), aka awful shade range
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Bobbi Brown Intensive Serum foundation which was recently reformulated. They shifted the SPF around and bumped up the amount of some silicones and glycerin so in theory it should be more smoothing and hydrating.

I think the Shiseido tint looks so great on you. It is light coverage but the finish gives a perfect, polished no-make up make up look. I love the cream bronzer and the Danessa Myricks blushes, used for lips also. Again, they look great on you. Thanks for showing us these products! 🙏💜

If you have not tried Dior Pump and Brow gel you may like it. It has fibers but is very user friendly. It is one of my favorites.
You must give the Danessa Myricks shimmer eye liners a go! 😍 I don’t really have any Shiseido makeup except the liquid eye liner, which is fantastic. It would be interesting to know how the concealer held up? Great video, as always! xx

Hi great video thank you and I really like the look. I hope Miss Butters is fully back to health and it was lovely to see her looking so good in your vlog. My Nap jumper finally arrived in the UK and it is absolutely lovely, thanks for the recommendation. It was worth the wait. Another great recommendation of yours was the Surratt Noir Lash tint - this has become my favourite and I am normally wedded to tubing mascara. The lash tint has excellent hold and makes lashes look thicker as it is easy to apply right at the base, and is easy to remove with an oil cleaner - none left behind. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Surratt brow pomade and also the Hourglass brow fibre gel. 😃
I heard the Shiseido Synchro Skin concealer was really good too. Jessica Braun raves about it.

Dear Michelle. I find your videos so relaxing and comforting. I even like the sound that your blush makes as you apply products to your skin. It is like watching an artist paint. My skin is kind of olive, but it does have some pinks and yellow tones. I think it may be light maybe rosy olive, I am not sure. I do like neutral undertones also. I do not like makeup that is too warm as it looks too orange and horroible on my skin.
I find it all so confusing, when looking at Sephora or Mecca online in Australia. I also get overwhelmed and confused when trying to find the correct colour matches for my skintone when online. My funds are very limited as I am now a single Mum, and I home school and care for my son and now my ageing Mum, since my father passed away , from Parkinson's disease, late in 2021. So it is very much 24/7 unpaid work. So I have to be careful when purchasing non essential things, like makeup. But it is fun to look and dream. I am in my mid 40's also. It is wonderful finding strong beautiful woman like you that are not all 20 and baking concealor with tons of drying powder under their eyes on CZcams ! You have selected such pretty colours in this haul. I love the Rose Quartz eye palette. I had a giggle when you chose Stardust, as my teenage son is very annoyed with me at present. He recently discovered that Stardust is one of his middle names on his Birth Certificate. During my labour on the way to the hospital, Joni Mitchell was singing, Woodstock, on the car radio, the line, "We are golden we are Stadust..." stuck in my mind at the time, and as I was in a delirious painful state, at the time, the name and the song stuck in my head. Thank God I did not make it his first name! I chose Samuel. As it sounds soft and kind. And Samuel is a very kind son. I am very lucky to have him.. He sometimes watches your videos with me. He has learnt the terms light coverage, light medium coverage from you...oh and yes cakey. He still is confused why ladies put makeup on their faces, as he told me once, Mummy you disappear into the bathroom and come out looking the same. Or sometimes he tells me, Mummy you look a bit like a clown. Tone your blusher down. It is Summer here in Oz. So I think the pretty blush set is amazing. And very Summery...if that is a word. I also watched the recent Lisa Eldridge video on the patch work technique. I love it. I have followed her for years now and learnt so much. I am not very good with tight lining and I do not even own a liquid liner. As they scare me a bit. I first found your channel when I was looking at some Trinny London products. I like light coverage like you, and I hate cakey makeup. I want my skin to look like skin only better, and I love cream blushes and products I often use a lipstick as both a my blusher and my lipstick. It saves money. And it can add a healthy glow to a very tired Mummy's face. I do not get much sleep. So I do need some help. I do not own many blushes. So I use the warmth of my fingers to pat in products. I have quiet a bit of pigmentation due to my pregnancy and the harsh Australian sun Lisa has taught me how to use concealer to disguise it better if I run out of foundation. Which I have at present. I do wear SPF 50 plus each day. Thank you again for you fun and playful videos. I am sitting here recovering from a Covid Pzifer booster jab I got yesterday. And nursing a very sore arm. My son had a rough night as well. So I need some comfort viewing. One last thing I love the cute Year of the Tiger highlighter you purchased, it is such a beautiful colour. I would find it hard to use as it is just so pretty and I love tigers. If I owed it I think I would probably just keep it as is. It is just so sweet. Thank you again, Trudy 💖🌏

I know the blush was a lot for you. But it was so nice seeing such a bright, lively, youthful color on you since you usually prefer muted mature grayish tones. Especially with the lip color. So pretty!

Love this look! Even though the Rare Beauty Powder was not quite the shade you wanted, it warmed you up just enough! I am 55 and just found your channel. I am like you as far as “one and done” shadows and focusing more on lips and cheeks. 😁 I used Shiseido foundations in my 30s and then my shade was discontinued. I’ll see if I can get a match in their new Tint, as Nars’ new foundation has no match for me because they changed the undertones of the foundation. I was using the shade Barcelona for years, now that same shade in the new foundation if off. ☹️

I love the Saie bronzer, it's ideal for my dry skin.
I love the Clinique Cheek Pop Blush, it's perfect for me.
The DM blush/lip palettes look amazing. I already own one of her blush palettes (which I don't use enough)
I know I can't keep buying foundations, as I have over 100, (and only one face) but this tint looks very pretty. Of course, I'm getting it!

I probably sound like a broken record (I mentioned this on your last video) but I would love to hear your thoughts on the Elf Wow Brow Gel ONLY because it’s supposed to have fibers in it. I know you review strictly high end and luxury makeup but since you’re looking for a brow gel with fibers I’m super curious how the Elf one compares because of its fibers. I plan on picking one up soon (once I feel comfortable leaving the house again) but I think it could be interesting to hear our luxury queen review a very inexpensive brand. Xo

I love shiesido esp their self refreshing original liquid foundation I want to try the new one to that the self refreshing lifting foundation. Plus I'm a skin tint junkie and I just ordered this skin tint can't wait to get it. They really know how to do foundation and shades. I've never matched so well with any foundation but theirs is always spot on to my skin. I swear I wonder if it's a technology that matches ur skin color when applied. It's wild bc its always so hard to find my shade in any brands foundation but not shiesido. Oh and the self refreshing part is so legit it really is self refreshing thru the day.

I actually liked it when you turned down the brightness. I am always trying to adjust my computer when I watch your videos as the shine is always a bit bright. Not your problem but since you asked and said if it helps so I thought I would respond.

I got the Rare Beauty loose powder in the shade light. It has a pinky with a small small hint of beige, the lightest of beige. I think of it as pinky beige but very light on the beige. I absolutely love it. I can't wait for the new bronzer stick to get to me!
Everything you tried created soft and natural finish and you look amazing. The blush is indeed very pigmented but it looks pretty on you.

I think you would like the lightest shade of the Rare Beauty powder. I haven't noticed any pink tone on my face. It is more translucent in my opinion.

I got the Shiseido tint from Influenster and I love it. I am over 50 with normal to dry skin. I found the best way to put it on is with your fingers and you get more coverage that way.

I enjoy watching you try cheek products, but with omicron I’m either masked or at home, so I’m still skipping blush and highlighter for the most part. Definitely don’t need creams inside my mask.

I got so used to Mishmas that now I am like a puppy. So excited to see new goodies! 🥰
The only Shiseido I am familiar with (from decades back) was their SPF foundation (blue plastic bottle. And so, so good!), duo eye shadow (black matte, cream shimmer. Basic.), and mini set of powder lipsticks (meh).
I am intrigued by their Synchro Skin Primer and Foundation, and now whatever you are demoing. I miss that summertime SPF formula. It was thin with perfect coverage and staying power.
Danessa Myricks products have floored me! And I have only used sample blister packs of the foundation/concealer and flush colors. I am SO impressed! Especially being more matured skin friendly. I don't wear makeup enough to make use of those awesome palettes though.
ps) How does this Shiseido skin tint compare to Chanel LES BEIGES EAU DE TEINTWater-Fresh Tint?
Hi Michele! Seeing the 2 blush pallets in the thumbnail, really had me thinking the nude on was way too dark. Who knew I would be intimidated by the flirty one. I loved the swatches of both,. Now I’m thinking I want to try the foundation and lip/cheek, and powder.
The only item from Rare Beauty I haven’t loved, is the mascara. Loved the way it wore the first 5 times I used it, but it leaves my lashes crunchy, and the last time, actually made ly lashes droop. Not to mention it is a bugger to remove. Thanks again for the in-depth reviews, and have a great week.

Omg michelle my friend works for givenchy and she gave me a foundation thats not out yet. Its a matte foundation but it looks more satin its so beautiful on the skin. I wanna hear your thoughts on it.
I got the Shiseido skin tint to test/review from Influenster and I've found that you can only really build up the coverage using your fingers. Happy that I got it for sure. I'm still trying to decide which DM lip/cheek palette I want, both are beautiful!
