Can never find anything in stores. 🙄 impossible to play this game when people are buying out my local stores

If you buy the whole set as singles you can spend $300 or less and have a playset of every card. No alts but you can get a playset of it all vs $200 per box and $8-12 per pack that shops are charging
Buying online isn’t that much better. I’ve already got scammed once with weighed Japanese op05 boosters. I’m just sticking to English from now on

If you actually want to play, just buy the singles for your deck online. I get that a lot of people like the activity of ripping packs (myself included). Don't let that prevent you from playing the game.
I'm thinking about purchasing "The Best Premium Booster Box" coming out in July. It includes cards from 01-06 with unique illustrations and revamps of previous cards.

Is it worth investing in an op-01 first edition booster box ? I’m new to the hobby :) any advice would be so appreciated
Yea i cant find ne eb-01. Pre orders normally my lgs has min 2 booster boxes n they were takeing orders for op07. N when i asked they said the distributors dont know how much there getting so idk if eb01 will exist besides singles.
I just Liked and Sub and bought my first One Piece card and wanted to start collecting for a long term investmemt thanks for your advice on sets. I need rare and limited sets not overly printed sets
I'd like to collect any of them, honestly, but it's been impossible to find product in stores. And prices online, at least in the US, are 2-3x MSRP which I'm certainly not paying.

If you want to go value then sure OP-05 wins hands down. 3 Mangas, Oda card, easy win. If you're going playability though I really have to give it to OP-06. While OP-05 does have the best leader that being Sakazuki, I would definitely argue that overall OP-06 has a better leader pool. Moria isn't far behind Sakazuki and he's definitely ahead of Enel as of this moment. Enel is going to get more help later but if you count that then you have to count the fact that Sakazuki is getting banned and then OP-06 still wins IMO. Yamato, Reiju and Perona are all around Enel in strength and Purple Luffy has definitely fallen out of favor.
As far as non leaders go, I also give that to OP-06. 8 drop Moria is so ridiculously strong, there's an event in Reject that can actually do damage and heal you, plus one of the main cards OP-05 has with it's 4 drop Rebecca is an SP card in OP-06. OP-05 does have Blocker Kid, Lucci and 10 drop Luffy but Purple isn't exactly a highlight right now unless you're playing Reiju which doesn't use either of those or R/P Law which I don't believe uses the 10 drop Luffy.
So sure, if you want to go for value then OP-05 all day for the slim chance at pulling the Mangas or Oda card, but I think if you're focusing more on playing in the here and now OP-06 is better.

@@CincoDollazzThey are already planning on doing reprints soon, but just buy singles either at your local or online. Wait for store sales, I I waited to pick up a box of OP06 at my local which they had on sale for $150. They also had a few boxes of OP05 on sale for $239 & OP04 for $129

For me im collecting op-06 and 1 bc its the only cheap ones. For each booster 2 dola and the small box about 44
I live in Japan and my local convenience store has all these in stock all the time I’m limited to 10 packs as day. I go at their shift changes and clean their stock. Crack and repeat
trying to get a playset of every set is rough, EB01 feels good for my wallet
I opened 2 double pack bows and last pack pulled the Luffy signature
building yamato and zoro/sanji deck for this set. sad competitive yamato is just enel + wano support and zoro/sanji is not even mid tier :
It does become a high skill rogue deck with the new Warlord cards

cards to play? they're all alright but I'm biased for op06
EB-01 has some great competitive cards, but I wouldn't buy it for the inflated price it's at now, same with OP-06
