@@Chauntecleer agreed, this is called "choosing not to conquer your opponent". If you can't defeat your opponent through conquest, just resign. Its a loss anyways.

It’s like bolding, it starts in the middle but slowly expand and in the end you have nothing, Boit can tell you more about it

Imagine playing a game designed for epic battles but choosing to NOT conquer your opponent.... that is what victory by wonder is.
Well, sometimes you go for a wonder victory if you’re caught in a stalemate for an extended period of time, just to close out the game somehow
