Divine Mozart - demonstrating the existence of a limitless space of joy and love
Mozart’s joyful spirit never fails to enlighten my atmosphere, even in its most darkest hour.
Beautifully played. Very passionate conductor, nothing with that. Superb.
Enjoyed the energy and the lyricism and the opportunity to view this work of Mozart. Thank you for the video.
i love the conductor
Wonderful Ton Koopman with Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg -this is original Mozart style and sound Bravissimo! Thank You for lovely music Greetings Martin
WOOOOOOOONDERFUL... Excellent Ton Koopman... very well for the MOS
I love the conducter's passion, It's getting hard to find passion like that in most orchestras
I remember when Richard Osborne opened Record Review years ago with that mesmerising oboe theme in the andantino from Ton Koopman's recording with the Amsterdam Baroque Soloists. I was hooked and because I didn't get the CD originally it too me years to find it 2nd hand. It's one my favourite recordings of early-middle Mozart symphonies. It's a real pleasure to have this performance too. Thnx for posting.
the conductor is completely mesmerizing
The oboe solo of the second part is heartbreaking
This is Ton Koopman very interesting conductor; try to listen to his conducting for BWV1069
MARVELOUS 💝✨🌍🎇🎶💫....!
Excellent!!!!
The music jumps out of the computer....
the hallmark of a genius
What some of you may not understand is that people are actually watching the first violinist for cues instead of the conductor. When sitting in an orchestra sometimes it is more of a hindrance to look at the conductor. In cases like that one would write LUFU on the top of their part meaning "look up, f--- up." Could you imagine playing correct notes after looking at this conductor's face as he conducts?
Linda Sinfonia,e eu ainda não conhecia! Agradeço este presente!
divine madness
¡Maravillosa sinfonia¡
Simplemente maravillosa.
MOZART IS EASY TO LOVE LIKE A GENTLE AND SOOTHING BREEZE AFTER A STORMY BEETHOVEN
Thank you for this wonderful video!
I'm seized into vibrant, bustling Viennese high society with the skinny Mozart bobbing around in the streets :D THis was great :D
This was composed by17 year old Mozart in Salzburg, May 1773.
For those of you interested in adopting music, themes and use it in other composition. I have found this second movement would nicely fit into Mozart 1st Horn Concerto.
For some reason in publications and in performance we only see Allegro - Allegro.
I was always wondering why Mozart did not write a middle movement...etc
I believe it was lost somehow.
It is a beautiful oboe solo with strings.Starting about 5:45.
When I recorded my CD the "The Classical Flugelhorn." I included in my version.
You can find it here in You Tube, I hope most of you will like it ?

SO BEAUTIFUL 🌠🎀👑🎶💫
This must been a major inspiration for the overture of Don Giovanni, parts of it sound just like it!
BEAUTIFUL
O santo cielo!!! Comunque suonano bene.
Fantástico y hermoso
Genius
Yea, me too, I can't help laughing either seeing all them dancing especially that guy near the conductor, his movement, his moving eyes and everytime he was "awared" for the next move... how can you stay still if the conductor conducts you "dancingly"? Lol!
But I love the concert, love them!
ENJOYABLE PERFORMACE
Hehe its hard to watch this without laughing, but I love that guy !
Many thanks, Harmonico.
💗
delightful 1
Can anyone just forget the fact that he is acting funny and focus on the music itself
Eseri kusursuz icra etmişler mükemmel
Oh yes, very good thought !
Bein pensé mon ami !
👌
Thanks. I share.
epic
Efsane ya
the conductor :):):)
@violin614 OMG thats the first thing that i noticed as well. all i could think was...damn she looks really really really dissapointed that its not her playing the oboe solo... like she was pissed and then sad... what a weird thing to notice..
The pasage from 5:43 would be amongst my top 10 pasages from all classical music of which i know a few hundred hours.
Shall i ellaborate?
At abour 6:00 begins a section of not leaving anyone behind.
Either u get it or u don't.
Danke, habe Link gesetzt
ah when symphonies were concise.
@violin614 however i agree. she looked very uncomfortable. i also agree that the performance was great and that sound is the focus here, but... i noticed it too
any body knows a torrent to bownload full concert???
@Thorg100: okay, thanks ;)

where tf do the timpanis come from ?
Hi is so cute!!!!
:)
Sorry, you made an error in your description: the score calls for trumpets, not trombones. "Tromba", plural "trombe", is the Italian word for trumpet; "trombone" was formed from it to literally mean "large trumpet".
Does this conductor remind anybody of Dr. Marvin from What About Bob, or is it just me? XD
3:17 lol
First stand's rough motions are extremely distracting. Very nice sound though.
I would like to become a violinist when i grow up. Do you know how much they get paid? my parents say, thats not a job, just because i play as a hobbby. they dont pay to much attention to my on the subject.
@HARMONICO101 you forgot the bassoon... why do the people always forget the poor bassoons =(
Don't kid yourself, that second oboist woman looked very pitiful, that she didn't have that solo!
ton koopman ftw
Too fast..

@borntofly146 no
there is nothing wrong with the conductor. he is just very much into the music, which is good, because you can tell that he and the players are very passionate about what they are doing. if everyone sat perfectly still and the conductor was a square, then there would be no fun or feeling in the piece. if you've ever played in or conducted a group, then you would understand. so quit commenting on the director and enjoy what they're playing for you. people are so ignorant...
@Chakiejan OMG hahahhaaahahahahahahaha
It was Comrade Stalin's Favourite...
Way too fast...Calm down dear!
Santa Claus conducts Mozart Symphony No.23!!
@Flame0213 u need to be very good at playing to get paid ... or ul be a teacher
Baton substituted by funny facial expressions
His conducting is quite inaccurate - observe how most of the players are following the leader.
Furtwangler's style was inaccurate too.The key is the rehearsal. And the leader - first violin- is watching koopman during the performance anyway.
Koopman is not my cup of tea. His tempo is always too fast, commensurate with his seemingly nervous disposition. Also noticed widespread use of the vibrato technique which was frowned upon by both Leopold and Amadeus.
wtf?
He's drunk.
