You guys should add a looper to the app and have Spark Control, well, control it! That would make Spark the ultimate practice amp. I already have a Spark and was anxiously waiting to see if Spark Control would add looper functionality and was disappointed to see it didn't :(

The most important thing that is missing is a looper!! Spark is the best practice amp available, but a looper is a must for practice.
Yes seconded a loop pedal would make this a must have accessory. With all the other things the app/amp/pedal can do its just asking for a proper loop function.

Absolutely. A looper is a glaring omission to an otherwise excellent amp.
Would love to have an expression pedal added to this to use for wah, volume, whammy effects. Would also love seeing a looper added. Great amp and value for the price. I always recommend them to my students.

Iâll be honest, Iâm a big fan of RJâŠhave followed his channel for awhile now to say the least.
If he is putting his name behind this, thatâs all I need. He knows his stuff. And heâs an awesome guitar player. Iâm from the Detroit area so of course Iâm a fan of RJ. But itâs his reputation of being an honest CZcams person and his professionalism that I admire.
Iâm just a beginner using a Mustang LT 25, which is alot like the Spark. But Iâm still going to get this and try it. And itâs RJ that really sold me on this.

Loving the amp. It has rekindled my love for playing again. I'll add to wishes for an expression/volume pedal and looper functionality. Would purchase in a heartbeat if those were available.

I'm really enjoying this amp at home, I wish it had a spring reverb, that's what I miss the most...and the fact that you can't put some pedals like the univibe before the amp. That new eq is a great add. Anyway if you make a bigger version for playing live I'll surely buy it

I am most definitely placing an order for this. As to forthcoming additional functionalities, I would like a way to hook up actual foot switches to this unit. I realize the spark has a Wah pedal setting, but when you canât control it itâs not really a Wah pedal is it? Additionally Iâd like the ability to use a real loop pedal. This would greatly enhance the spark amps usefulness. I have three other amps that I can run my entire pedalboard through but the Spark is the one that I like to use for practice purposes and I lose the functionality of my pedalboard. Perhaps positive grid could design a single wireless switch that has an input in the back for pedals, that could communicate wirelessly with either the Spark or the Spark control.

I really like the tones you used RJ, I found the Stone Breaker, hoping its similar to what you used. Are the others, Clean, High Gain, and Metal something you can share which they are? Thanks. Just got this footswitch a week ago and Spark mini a couple weeks ago, really digging these, certainly gets me playing more often!

Absolutely. RJ's on another level.
I would like to have had a 5th master foot switch to change between the modes, like preset mode and stomp mode. Then you would be able to control 4 amps and 4 effects (off or on).
You would have 16 options on the fly in stead of 4 now.
Maybe this would be programmable by tapping a foot switch twice. Tapping foot switch 1 for preset mode, foot switch 2 for stomp mode and foot switch 3 for playback mode.
I also miss the looper function.

I would love to have an update for a pedal octave and octave fuzz. This is probably the only basic modulation effect that is not offered and I do not understand why? Thank you for taking my subjection.
This is a good addition to the Spark. I have one. I don't use it much because I was hoping for an outlet to plug into my pa board, but it doesn't have one. The FIRST THING I have noticed about this pedal is that it is very light and while you were using it, it kept kicking around sideways a bit. A heavier pedal won't do that. Does this mean the user will have to mount it to a pedal board or just deal with this issue?
Yes! Spark, please design a usable output for the spark am to go into a PA or mixer!!!
This thing is gonna change everything. If we had a looper that would be it. That would make this the best small amp ever made.
The Airstep SPK footcontroller has looper function included.

@@SticksAandstonesBozo no worries buddy. Personally I think the Airstep is bet2 as it has lights that tell you which preset you have selected and it has a looper mode and it's cheaper!

How did you get stone breaker on the pedal instead of crunch? Do you have to save stone breaker as the hardware preset? Any way to just add a custom preset from the library?
Just got notification that my Spark control arrives today! yay. And guess what, iId love to see a loop function as well. expression pedal would be good too but that would need to be a separate unit. please don't make us pay for a new unit if we want a looper.
How do you change into the different scenarios? Preset/stompbox/playback?
Ordered mine. Can't wait to get it. I'd like to see the ability to use the pedal to cycle through the different banks, ie like , Rock, Metal, Acoustic, Pop, Blues... And then use another button on the pedal to scroll through the presets in each bank. That way, I wouldn't need to touch my phone to scroll through the banks and I could access Evey preset I have, not just the 4 hardware ones. Please add this ability.

Hi have tried to create the Shadows Hank Marvin sound with this equipment but just falls short of the sound. Appreciate it if you can find a setting with that echo reverb sound he has. Thankyou

Question ? Can you save only 4 presets on the foot controller ? Or does it let me scroll up and down through all my preset sounds...just keep changing to the next sound ?
Wireless and 'plug and play'?? Sorry that made me giggle!! I've ordered one of these bad boys to go with my Spark Mini I've ordered! Played through the Spark a few times - a bit bass heavy (it is also a bass amp after all) but brilliant fun, and when I saw that battery powered option, with this too, what's not to like?
Any chance of a foot rocker type wah controller. Its the thing I miss most on these amps since there isn't an insert system, and I'd rather a wah pedal be at the end of the control chain rather than the start

Also the Spark usb has the ability, to set up control of changes via midi during record and playback. Why has this not been enabled yet?

Can I buy 2 and have the amp recognize both at the same time? I would use 1 for amp presets and the other for effects.
Being able to switch between 2 presets with 1 button (toggle mode) would be a nice addition.

Hi, I just got the control pedal for x-mas. I wonder If there is a chance to switch through my 15 sounds that I have saved on the "Rock" presets rather than only having the 4 hardware presets. I would like to switch through all sounds while I play different cover songs in a row. Thank you!
yes like switch 1scroll up switch 2 scroll down switch 3 select switch 4 for different peddles linked to 1 & 2 to scroll through different peddles then select with 3 etc...
Hey RJ, quick question, the EQ pedal is under the Modulations, so if you use it, you can't use any of the other modulations. Is that correct? So, can you add a real EQ pedal to the front of the Spark to get around that?
You are correct that you can only use one pedal at a time under the Modulations section. Therefore, if you select the EQ pedal, you can't engage any of the others. Yes, you can definitely use a real EQ pedal, or any external pedal for that matter, with your Spark. Thanks Bob!
I know I'm not the first to say it, but the addition of a looper function would make the control and amp one of the best bargains on the market.

I'm thinking about picking this up but have one concern. Will I still be able to connect my phone to the amp via Bluetooth while using the pedal? For example, play music through Spotify, use the spark app, etc?
Any news on an update to include a looper. Its the only thing the amp is lacking. I would have thought the footswitch would have added one.

Please incorporate Banks. For example bank A has 4 presets A1, A2, A3 and A4. That way you can have related tones. For example: bank A is guns & roses tones ( A1 is clean, A2 is rhythm, A3 is Solos, A4 is Solos + Wah), bank B is Metallica tones, bank C is Pink Floyd tones, etc. Thanks.

I hope it switches "faster" than the BT-4 (I have one). It was really annoying that it changes the preset/feature when the switch is released and not when pressed. I had to stop using it as I was not able to get used to that đ (a disto pedal activates when pressed, then just want the same!) I was a severe user (since JamUp) beta tester of pedal and fx, etc. I was a bit disappointed with the BT-4 tbh, I guess it was a starting point for all the sparks products.

Can we choose presets that are different from the 4 hardware ones?
I have countless presets saved, and I like to be able to choose those presets using the foot switches. But it seems that Spark Control can only change the hardware presets (four presets).
I just noticed it now, and I think it's too late to return it.
They had a great opportunity of delivering a really nice product, but they just released a useless one.

No, BT4 is designed for use with BIAS mobile apps and iOS devices.

Yes, you can switch between hardware presets without being connected to the app.

I really want this usable without having to use the app (particularly gigging, where you want to remove as many factors going wrong as possible).

You would simply plug your wah pedal into Sparks input jack like any other amplifier.

I want shorter length REWINDS when playing CZcams or music tracks. Especially when trying to learn quitar parts I want the option of 3sec,5sec,or 10sec. Currently you only offer 10sec which is a bit too long. Thanks!
