Learn Kanakanaruchira With Me! | Varali Pancharatnam Tutorial Video | Part 1

Kanakanaruchira is a beautiful Pancharatnam in the ragam Varali by Sadguru Thyagaraja.
An old tradition requires gurus to not directly teach their students this Pancharatnam. Due to present day facilities I have recorded this video in a sing-along format for the benefit of my students and others who wish to learn the correct patanthara of this song.

Interesting question! In my school of thought, my father, Trivandrum R.S Mani, did not teach me the Varali Pancharatnam alone. However, he has taught me other beautiful kritis in this ragam that I have passed on happily to my students. :-)
