Genesis needs to be given a Nobel prize for its interiors. Best interiors in the industry. Helps to have a former Bentley designer on their team

Best value for the money among luxury makes at this point in time. And we’re early so you have a unique car. Road is littered with beamers and lexuses
The PHYSICAL INFOTAINMENT CONTROLLER is an absolute must, FOR SAFETY!!! Without a manual controller the driver is FORCED to take their eyes off of the Road. WITH a manual controller the driver eventually learns the pattern to reach each feature, then can just press to activate. The controls can be memorized, and this eliminates the need to look away from the road. Physical, manual infotainment controls ARE A MUST!!!

Nice review. Genesis is killing it. Had I wanted a sedan the G80 3.5 Sport Prestige would have won, but I wanted more utility and bought a GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige, it has been wonderful. Something i just learned, mostly I use the controller, but the home screen has hot spot areas !! Touch anywhere on the weather display, and it takes you to the weather app, touch the time and it takes you to the time app, touch the displayed music and it takes you to the radio app, all off the home screen !! Genesis just added this information on their CZcams site in their "how to" videos, I've had my GV70 almost 2 years and never knew/heard about this feature. Genesis tech is just crazy good, and the design language is beautiful and sophisticated. To me the GV70 and G80 are the most beautiful vehicles in their segment. Good luck with your channel.

What a great video. I have watched a lot of videos about the G80 Sport Prestige and I’ve owned two. I’m about to agree to lease my 3rd but I’ve been nit picking the difference between my 2021 model and the 2024 (not a fan of the 2025 update to come). This video taught me things about the G80 I didn’t know. Really. Congratulations on great content!

I have a silver one with black interior rear wheel steering makes it turn like a car about 18" shorter wheel base. the auto parking assist does way more than just back and forward that you showed it will locate a parking spot and auto park. for people that cant parallel park well this is great.
Lexicon audio was only in the Rolls-Royce, until hyundai genesis came out, only 2 vehicles I know of that has it...
It's owned by Harman, which is also owned by Samsung, so of course they gonna use the best tech they have in their country

The remote parking feature is useless in public parking lot. Unless the car parked next to you is also equipped with remote parking (which is highly unlikely) they can hit your car when opening the door if your cars are parked too close. The feature can be useful only when you need to park it into a narrow garage.

16:48 FYI: By selecting DRIVE or REVERSE from PARK, the parking brake will automatically release.
Forgot to mention the ability to see outside the vehicle on the display in front of you when you turn on the turn signals will change the way you drive. Daily I have to use a freeway that exists onto another freeway and the arrangement is a death trap. With this feature I can see traffic existing the expressway onto the ramp and traffic passing the ramp (all on the TV screen in front of me) without looking over my left shoulder. So I’m looking forward as I exit which I great because the other car in front of me on the ramp just braked! (One of many ways this exit is a killer THANK YOU MICHIGAN ROAD DESIGNERS). I have just gone to an Audi, a BMW, and a Mercedes dealership and none of them have this feature in ANY of their cars. I think this is way more important than wireless Apple car play (which I agree the G80 should have).

$75000 and the front passenger seat is not massage. Still beautiful interior. And why do most vehicles have a tablet for a screen and no screen in the dash? Who made that decision industry wide? Great review always in depth Keep up the great work.

Most wireless apple car play disconnect during a trip quite often. The only system I haven’t experienced disconnection is the BMW idrive8. The Idrive7 disconnect pretty often tho.
G80 is the closest model Genesis has to a grand tourer. Hope Genesis has a grand tourer for 2026!

I want a luxury vehicle. When I think of luxury, there's a wooden interior. The color red for the interior is for sports cars. Maybe this is just the wrong trim level for me.
These new Genesis are maniacs. I'll skip the ttV6 @375 hp. A 300hp SINGLE turbo, REAR wheel drive has gotta be WAAAAY more fun. And that kind of luxury plus "WAAAY more fun"?? ... for $15k LESS?!? I'll take it!!
I love how the G80 looks. However the more I look at it, and maybe it’s this video and/or color of the car in particular, it resembles the previous gen Audi A7 imo.

Steering wheel looks like a Chrysler, and Mercedes interiors ARE nicer... BUT, as far as for the "total package," as per price point, for a NEW example??? Gotta' be the G80... However, You go with a 3 to 5 years depreciation example of Mercedes TT models? Gotta' be Mercedes, all day. Just as cheap, just as nice, just as powerful, MORE reliable...

It's funny how NO reviewer have the balls to say: Look, it's a copy&paste brand, they've taken the good parts from MB, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Volvo etc etc... and put it all together with some of their own design, tech and what not, and there you have it, the G80 Genesis.... I hope the gift bag is worth all the a$$ kissing!!!

Genesis is a joke. I had a 2018 G80 sport that Car was so terribly balanced. The front was so heavy. Body rolls were insane. I couldn’t wait for that lease to end. Terrible experience big waste of money.
