Is Dharma = Brainwashing?

We've been in samsara for much longer than we've been Malaysian, Chinese, American and so on. Why do we put so much effort into maintaining those labels, and how come we are not as focused on applying the methods to get out of samsara? H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche explains the difference between brainwashing and meditation, and how REAL free will develops when we apply the methods taught by the Buddha.
