this is how I do it, a little bit at a time as my budget, time and carrying capacity allows. I ride city buses so I can't haul a whole lot. large items get delivered tio my apartment or to a shipping company drop location. space also dictates what you get and how you arrange it for storage I learned from the 2020 derecho that shredded Iowa that I needed to get backup power so I got that taken care of. I still make time to volunteer at my mosque, camp with family and friends and still add to my preps
It's what works for you that is important. We all have our limitations. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Dale. I totally need to be jumping on the BOL.
At least make it a once a week thing. Hey, maybe Sunday’s, like the days of yore. 😁
Missing the online family a lot.
As a long time prepper I would advise regular checks on food storage. Dry goods are targets for mice. We have lost months worth to a single varmint. Traps are great, barriers are better but checking allows for resupply if there is an issue.
Avoid buying canned goods with pop tops. Tomato products dont keep long term in cans. Always freeze flour for a few days to kill any larvae that may hatch later then store it in jars. Only buy what you use or know how to use. Dehydrating takes up less room than cans or jars.
Very 🆒️ 🎉
