That’s what you get in collectivist societies. Areas of Europe (like Switzerland for example) used to have ppl be very formally dressed in public prior to Covid. Nowadays they’re more relaxed.

I think this trick would've gotten better reactions if there wasn't clearly a man on other side of the little flower thingy. In some of the shots you can see clearly see his back, and if you were looking from the pefdestrains point of view you would definitly see him as soon as you looked at the chair.
it would've been better to use a longer string and put right corner (diagonal from the chair) so people wouldn't automatically realize what was happening. Better yet, attach the string to a remote controlled car, one that doesn't make too much noise and maybe cover it with some fake greenery so it's camouflaged better. That way you can hide it better and also pull it from all sorts of directions, giving you more opportunities to switch things up and find the best scaring technique!
