Stefan Schmidt - A simply great performance. Thanks for this clear and faultless performance by Isabella Selder. I do sit and wish though I could never match this in my lifetime. I like listening to her performances too. She was fortunate to start at such a young age.

Stunning performance...beyond description!
I watched Isabella grow up within two minutes. I found her as a child at seven and that blew me away...then I noticed the recording was 1998 and that would put her at around 22 years of age today...so I found her here and like when she were a child she is even better with age. Though Mauro Giuliani wrote this piece ...Isabella performs like it were her own creation. Outstanding performance to say the least. It's mind blowing the talent hidden throughout this world. Great job!

Why must people try to compare greatness of guitar masters. There are so many greats with differences in technique. Trying to compare a great flamenco to a great classical or popular or rock guitarist is pointless. If you love guitar, just try to enjoy it for what it is in the forms that you appreciate.

With this artist and especially with this piece, it does not pay to take your eyes off her for as long as a heartbeat, even though you can still hear the music. The mind driving those fingers is one in a billion. I am a poor excuse for an aficionado and amateur guitarist if I am only just now becoming acquainted with her work.

Same here. I watched the video of her as a child and that of course had me looking for more recent videos. She is amazing.
I am glad she stuck with it. Some child prodigies do not. Obviously her talented was nurtured from a young age and not forced upon her.

C'est impressionnant, magnifique mais pas seulement: une maîtrise parfaite du début à la fin. Le son de la guitare est sublime; il aurait à mon avis été encore mieux dans une ambiance plus sèche (moins de réverbération). Isabella Selder, un nom à retenir parmi les très bons et très bonnes guitaristes du monde.
