A TOUR AT THE OSU CASTLE

Built in 1661, the Gaint historical edifice stands as a symbol of the past inhumane treatment to our ancestors.
The castle since it was built , has passed through several hands; The Danes, Portuguese and finally the British all in their quest for expansion of territories and exploitation.
From 1526- 1867 , the castle was a dreadful “house “ to millions of slaves who were transported across the Atlantic Ocean .
For a long period of time it was the seat of government for past leaders of Ghana.
Today it stands as a tourist attraction and also a symbolic place that “NEVER AGAIN, WILL THE BLACK MAN EVER BE A SLAVE “.
