I only legit got angry at the contestants once during the entire show, which suggests to me that it is actually a pretty good reality show.
Same here from what I remember! The casting team honestly did a really great job for the first season, and having a whole cast full of people who weren't maddening to watch was a surprisingly nice change of pace as far as reality shows go! Here's to hoping the second season keeps it up!
I thought it would be interesting if they made a second version where the scenes of traitors are edited out so you don’t know who it is until the end or they get voted out.
That'd be a cool alternative honestly! I assume they'd only need to cut out the interview segments and parts where they decide who to kill. Honestly would be a cool watch!
This reminds me a lot of Trapped on CBBC I used to love that show as a kid.
Good point! I remember watching that show too, and it was honestly a pretty good show! That said, I wouldn't all too mind if in the next Traitors season they made the traitors try and subtly sabotage the games like they had to in Trapped! I mean, they're owned by the same parent company, so there's always a chance!
I remember watching episode 3 with big wheel and the contestants were picked out of a tombola picker and I thought: "Clever, this will fix the people chosen so that they don't pick andrea or Mel since they could be health and a safety nightmare."
And then they were picked and I did a double take.
The show had a lot of really good bits like that! Every few episodes had a sort of "surely not!" moment that kept things feeling fresh! Wanted to mention a few in the video but decided to keep it spoiler free, but what happened at that last roundtable was a particular favourite for me!
I'm American and just seen this version. It's definitely the best imo, I love the fact that it's civilian players...and those twists!
I hadn't realised the US version featured people who'd already been on reality TV! Once I get around to checking it out I'll be interested to see how much it changes up the format!
I prefer the US version, the people know how to play to the cameras and are just more likeable in general, but Claudia is the best host by far
@@highonsugar6273 It all just looks too staged and typical of Reality TV. UK Traitors looks like a psychological game played by normal people who not worrying about playing up to the cameras... Which is what the show is meant to be.
@@christianfrost8660 eh, to someone from the UK like me it’s what most UK reality shows are, I prefer the US one because the drama is better, whether it’s staged or not I don’t care
Heavy video man, same quality as some famous CZcamsrs keep it up
Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot! Don't worry, I'll make sure to keep doing my best from here on!
Man, it is crazy to me you only have 3 digit subs when you're killing it with this video.
It was interesting, informative, and very clear what your points were on the show. You really got me interested on the topic and had me paying a good bit of attention. I think you're gonna do really well if you keep this up.
You're too kind, but thanks! I'm glad to hear the video has been received well out of the gate, especially because it's a little different from what I'd usually cover on the channel! Still, maybe one day we'll pass that 4 digit sub threshold, even if it's still a little ways away yet!
Ive always actually wondered what would happen if all the traitors are banished before the end. It would be exciting to see them all celebrating before Claudia gives them q huge twist.
Ooooh, that'd be interesting to see and likely something that happens if the show gets enough seasons! Something tells me they'd be given the option to end the game there, or continue and have another traitor introduced for more cash or lower contestants to share it with!
@@Neremik2 That actually sounds like a great idea. Still can't wait for season 2 to come out later this year.
That beginning part was edited excellence
i agree, it was my favourite part to edit by far! glad to hear you enjoyed it!
It's here! Figured I'd try something different with this one and tackle a TV show for once, and hopefully you guys still enjoy it all the same!
Let me know what you think! Will you be checking out the show after watching this video, have you already seen it and if so what did you think? I'd love to hear your guy's thoughts down here, let's get a discussion going!
