RAINBOW CUBE COLLECTOR- Fun Relay, Warm Up, or Bowling Activity!

Rainbow Cube Collector can be used in a variety of activities! We are currently using it in our Bowling unit. Your team starts with one cube collector sheet in any of the 6 rainbow colors. For every bowler, you collect cubes for the number of pins they knock down on 1 turn. For example, if my teammate knocks down 4 bowling pins, I'd collect 4 cubes in any of the colors I need to create the various stacks on my sheet. Once we complete the entire sheet, we turn it in to the color bucket and grab a popsicle stick. We then choose a different colored sheet and complete that one. How many different popsicles can we earn. The team that collects all 6, or the most is the winner. You can use this as a warm up, just collecting a cube at a time, or with basketball shots, etc... So many ideas to incorporate manipulatives and math into your activity!
