Crazy this video was uploaded on the day Herb Kohl passed away. He was critical in keeping the team in Milwaukee and for him to watch the Bucks finally get a ring in milwaukee in 2021 must have been so special. RIP legend and thank you.

I love it when players are loyal to the teams they were originally drafted by. That's a true MVP. A player that carries his team with passion from the bottom all the way to the top without making excuses.

Jokic is by far my favourite player, but this made me appreciate Giannis so much more. Moved from overseas, to a different culture and language, he stayed in the city and team that gave him a chance, and lead the team to championship. What a story.
You should really watch RISE the documentary about him and his brothers and parents coming up and they were shut down so many times it’s beautiful I just wanna meet him. I think they did speak English over in Greece tho just his parents had to learn

I’ve always idolized him since I always saw myself in him in terms of body type(I’m not 6’11 but tall n skinny) but also his humor and his ambition. This video brought a tear to my eye on how well done it is and couldn’t be happier my favorite player achieved these heights with more to climb. This man is everything for Milwaukee and many young fans around the world who see their struggles in him and see how he got to that point. Wow I love Gianni’s
@@user-zs8jd3cb8s he is almost like a ficitonal character with the life he lived (thats more like a story) sharing shoes with his brother so one had to sit on bench while the other played ... to beeing the best in the world ... and still he never speaks to highly about himself , he is always grateful , his work ethic is out of this world , there is so much goo things you can say about him and almost none bad ... but the NBA wants to hype up their Zions and Morants , that rather "flex" guns on social media or sit on the couch and eat when they have even bigger chances

Watching Giannis 1st MVP acceptance speech always makes me teary eyed
Most memorable thing about Giannis's rise for me was how confident and vocal Milwaukee fans were that they found themselves a superstar years before he actually became one lol
They call him fake humble and no skill on twitter, but nobody defines loyalty more imo. The state of Wisconsin invested in him and he invested back... this video encapsulated this relationship more than anyone else I have ever seen.
Jealousness is demon sht. Demons always try to make white look black and the black white, they alway invert reallity, because Evil can't stand "Good" and Giannis is the defenition, of a good guy. a loyal boy, that did whatever he promised and then some more. The best role model, this world had in decades. To tell you the truth, I'm 42 years old and I can'r remember, a better role model. Young people take notes. The right path, is the hard one! ALWAYS the hard one.
People were really calling him fake humble? I'm from Milwaukee so maybe that's why I hadn't ever heard that.
His story is why he will always be my favourite player, just an incredible person and player. Giannis looking up at the banners next to his parents is straight out of a movie, just amazing. Whenever Giannis points to the sky it’s for his father that passed. The moment where Giannis sits down after winning a championship will always make me emotional.
I actually cried in his MVP Speech.

I will never forget riding the bus from Madison to Mke as a 18 year old kid paying $10 twice a week to go see Jennings and then Knight and Sessions in the POS rundown Bradley center and loving every minute of it. This video makes me proud as a NBA fan who hasn't watched the NBA (or even played any NBA video games) since Jordan's championship years, until Giannis and the Bucks defied expectations in the 2021 Playoffs. I believed in them when few or nobody did. Giannis not only saved an NBA franchise, he also saved me as an NBA fan who has been "dead" from 1998 to 2021.
Can you really call yourself a fan when you missed 23 years of it?

I absolutely love Giannis' story. As cheesy as I may make it sound, it goes to show that no matter what objective you're trying to overcome, with enough discipline you can go places. There's a reason he is considered the hardest working in the league, even though he faced numerous hardships he still worked through the struggles. He has hit incredible feats and will surely hit more in the future to come. You really can not dislike him, amazing video.

This is an excellent documentary. I had no idea they were close to selling the franchise to Seattle or Las Vegas. The hero story and underrated rise of Giannis is what sports is all about.
As a long time Raptors fan, I was happy and over the moon when we won in 2019, but I was also very happy for Giannis and Milwaukee for winning in 2021.
May both teams win more championships in the future.

Amazing video man… I’m from NY and Giannis has been by far my favorite player in the league since like 2016. The first NBA game I ever went to was in 2022 @Nets when Giannis hit the game tying 3 to surpass Kareem as the Bucks all time scoring leader. When he hit that 3 I almost fainted- I couldn’t believe that I was in the arena for that historic moment. I’ll never forget that day it was special. Love the video I’ll be returning to watch it every now and then 💯

I’m Milwaukee born and this man is more than an nba player. Most of us in Milwaukee had family who came to this country with nothing and alone but through hard work they laid down roots and for the most part every generation there after could give more to their kids. This isn’t of city of suits making millions or billions but a city of people that have to work hard usually in some industry. Giannis most importantly made a commitment to this city and didn’t just leave for a team with “more money” or “better players” like every other big name in the NBA. He made me watch basketball again and it’s been a honor to watch him as I look as someone like him and it reminds me God is real. I don’t think I will see another player or professional like him again. Thank you Giannis

I chose the Bucks on a whim as my favorite team when I first got into basketball playing NBA Live 2004 because I loved the Michael Redd and Bobby Simmons combo. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, lol. Watching Giannis grow into who he's become might be the best experience I've ever had as a sports fan. The thought of this franchise winning a title seemed so farfetched to me until the moment it was actually official. I really appreciate the work you put into this.
