elden ring is an all around balanced game you gauge the difficulty to you desire so i’d put elden ring at middle for hardest cause it can be the hardest or the easiest

For me when I did Elden ring no summons or bleed nun like that, just two regular swords. Malenia took me like 4 hours, but to be fair I was fucking around for like 2 hours, and bloodborne, the dlc bosses took me like 3 hours for one, no Elden ring boss took me an hour to beat, only malenia but some bloodborne bosses took me hours

Well it’s probably because you played bloodborne first. Ds3 was the hardest soul game for me at the time. But after playing the other games and going back to ds3 the game is easy as fuck I beat every boss first time.
@@MichaelJacksonUs when I first played ds3, the only boss I ever really struggled on was pontiff, which took me like an hour and 30 minutes, every other boss took me like 5 tries or less including both dlcs, but it could’ve been different if ds3 was my first souls.

@@rd2926 That's more of an opinion thing. I personally find learning the timing of parrying in most games to be more fun then just dodging, but only when there is some kind of posture system. I don't want to parry and then the enemy just be killable immediately.

I beat Sekiro about a month ago and the achievement said that only 8% of players have defeated Isshin sword saint. The game has been out for 5 years.. Bloodbourne is the hardest souls game but Sekiro isn't really a souls game. It's a completely different mountain to climb.

Once you learn that sekiro is a rhythm game it becomes one of the easiest souls games it’s all about patience and when to strike and deflect when you perfect parry throw two or one attack when the boss does get ready to deflect/counterattack rage shoulda been played it fr been duckin one of the easiest games in the series

Brah mage isnt the hsrdest thing in the world but for certain fast attacking bosses being a full on mage is hell U get ine shot all the time unless you MASTER the bosses attack patterns and evade and attack efficiently. Maybe theres some random broken mage tech i dont know about but its not just running away shooting pew pews
Fr pure caster\ mage is hard asf when not using spirits or player summons because most bosses are just not gonna let u get ur spell \ incantations off. Really good in pvp tho

being an intelligence build is different from being a "pew pew" type of build, u can easily rock int weapons that require you to get up close and still be at more of an advantage than if you just run around shooting pew pews n shit. using that type of build w no endurance is just making it harder on yourself for no reason tbh💀🤣

I like every souls game so I don't really care how other people view it in terms of difficulty, but my personal list would be something along the lines of: 7: Demon Souls, 6: Dark Souls 3, 5: Dark Souls, 4: Elden Ring, 3: Dark Souls 2, 2 and 1: a toss up between bloodborne and Sekiro. I don't know why but Dark Souls 3 was a lot easier for me then it seemed to be for other people. Dark Souls 1 is my first souls game so that might be a bit of bias as to why it's over 3. Sekiro is the only game that I had to take a couple month break to finally get the hang of it's combat and even then I have yet to beat the final boss because I can't get his combo's down for the life of me. Others are self explanatory I think

I know there's some OG souls fans here, Elden Ring was my first souls game and I really liked the base game and DLC, one of my favorite games ever. Which one should I play next? I did a decent amount of Dark Souls III after and a really small amount of Sekiro, but nothing else.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1, Bloodborne are what I consider the true souls trilogy. As Miyazaki put the most creative juices in these 3.
Due to the Playstation exclusivity of Demon's Souls & Bloodborne well, most can't play em.
Playing Dark Souls 1-3 is a nice alternative. Just won't be as polished as the 'Main' games.
Sekiro isn't a soulslike really, more just an action game. But it's most smooth experience Miyazaki has put out.
And, not a soulslike, but Armored Core 6 is honestly my favorite modern FromSoftware game to date. Better gameplay and better customization than any soulslike.

You definitely can, and if you have fun then that’s that. I used to run ashes on my first run but honestly I found not using them to be much more fun. It just isn’t as fun to just go through the boss without really fighting it because it focuses on your ashes instead of you. Honestly recommend trying it

@@gojigiante melenia can be cheesed rather easily. Without magic and summons. In one of my play through a I literally killed her on accident while testing a new dex/faith build. Whether you stun lock her or spam blood attacks she is by no means as hard as she was day 1. And something y’all don’t understand is this version of elden ring is significantly easier than it was when I (and most of everyone else) beat it in the first few weeks of the game. When radagn was basically unbeatable and when all the other bosses were at their peak strength pre patch. And also none of the meta op builds were found yet. That was the hardest version of elden ring and it does rank 2nd for me difficulty wise but current 2024 elden ring is alot easier by a mile.
@@trev9168 I had more trouble with Malenia than everything. Killed Darkeater in like 4 or 5 but that may be due to my experience with Monster Hunter. Gael, and Friede died in less than 20. Nameless was the only boss that took me over 20 tries to kill.

Also, the areas on DS3 were mainly easy. Only the Ringed City really matched the harder levels of Elden Ring like the Haligtree.

Orphan is one of the most glazed difficulty wise bosses in history.. Laurence is much harder even though not that hard. Speaking of hard, Valley of Defilement is what separates kids from men.
I always thought bloodborne was the easiest soul game. It was literally my first one and i didn't find too much trouble except for the first boss. Every boss was challenging but there was never a moment of complete giving up or rage. I think the faster movement system helped. Whereas stuff like elden ring and dark souls are much much more challenging to me.

@@iiiiiiiiiilililli after you beat lady butterfly or the rooftop genichiro. it becomes so easy. both owl and isshin is the next one you'll struggle with but even then at that point you know the game enough to not struggle. Most people I see struggling with isshin are the ones playing it like dark souls. treating the deflect window the same as dodge in DS.
Bloodborne was easy for me because I played sekiro and elden ring prior so. I honestly feel like the only souls game that is hard is the first one you play

Demon's Souls, DS1 and DS2 are only difficult because of how limited the combat and movement is, Bloodborne and Sekiro are ultimately better games that take actual skill while Elden Ring and DS3 are catered to the casual players. All these FromSoft newbies wouldn't last one second in Chasm of the Abyss.

Sekiro has three hardest learning curve. If you struggle with aggressive bosses then Bloodborne might’ve been the hardest for you. Dark souls is just a harder elden ring imo. Elden ring is the easiest due to the availability and versatility of items, weapons, and summons. Never played OG demon souls and didn’t want to play the remake.

Bloodborne is either insanely hard or insanely easy. Same for all the fromsoft games. DS3 and elden ring I completed super easily first try almost every boss. Bloodborne was also pretty easy until I got to the DLC, Ludwig and orphan are still the most insane bosses for me

Bloodborne is pretty easy, Dark Souls 1 is very easy, Dark Souls 2 has artificial difficulty, Dark Souls 3 is easy, Elden Ring is probably the easiest. Sekiro isn’t a souls game its just fromsoft, I didn’t play much of it because I don’t really wanna use a katana the whole game (lame reasoning I know), but it felt pretty easy I think souls players find it difficult because they approach it like a souls game and not an action one.

Honestly I can’t believe bloodborne takes fully now cus I was on the first boss and died like 15 times (was the weakest starter class with no upgrades) 3rd souls game(elden+sekiro) then my brother who doesn’t even play video games like at all tries and beats it first try just by rushing using all my items he literally learned to play on the boss he only went to the guardian sentinel on elden ring and quit 2 years ago
I recently played bloodborne, and I gotta say it's the easiest souls game in my opinion, the hardest bosses to me were the first 2 bosses and logarius. I was kinda disappointed with alot of the bosses tbh. Haven't played the dlc though which people call peak so I don't have a final rating yet

Sekiro is too damn gimmicky parry this fill up this damn posture bar. Every single time. Even the prosthetic bs is old and only a few of the skills are actually useful. The game is stiff and boring asl. I’ve beat it once and never played it since because it’s not rewarding. There’s no point in replaying it cause you’ll just do the same bs, block, parry, fill up posture bar, swipe three times. The story is lame asl too just some more samurai/ninja bs for weebs to jerk off to. Haven’t seen that before
Bloodborne is supposed to have beasts that’s what its based around,(at the surface level) “hunting”.
The game forces you to be aggressive no block, no posture, no shield, just a weapon to hack away and gun that can choose to use for parries. And it’s worth replaying because every melee weapon has a transformation with unique moves and the story actually has depth to it and it’s not some lame weeb shit that’s in every other Japanese game that comes out
@@ObsecroRequiem It’s not gimmicky. The posture bar is essentially a health bar that rewards you for being aggressive. It’s probably the most clever part of the combat. The health bar is essentially there for show, the posture bar is the main focus.
The prosthetics and combat arts all have great uses if you put time into learning them. Watch ongbal or some other videos to learn more about how to combo them and add more depth to your combat.

If sekiro is just parry and attack, bloodborne is just dodge and attack. The gun doesn’t work for most bosses. If prosthetics are useless so is the gun lol. You can’t complain at sekiro for having a simple attack block pattern when you’re defending another from soft game. If you were talking about DMC or GoW then fair enough but it doesn’t work for dark souls or bloodborne 😭😭
