@@LinhNguyen-ug5nf same thing when he says he is not skilled in conversing with people he doesn't know and Lizzie tells him to practice. Cue him barging in next day unannounced just to try to talk with her (and failing for the most part). He's hopeless isn't he but he tries, poor dear.
The one person to dislike this video was Mrs. Bennett, because the dramatic parts of the video have a horrible effect on her pour nerves.

I so love the first minutes of this movie. The chirps of the birds, the piano, the sounds of her breathing and footstep and pages turned, the beautiful light the sun cast on the British countryside... It is so peaceful.

The continuous shot as Elizabeth strolls around and into the house -- introducing us to her, her family, and their home (a character in and of itself) -- is a poetic and perfect and masterful pairing to that lovely piece of music.

@@nathanruggles no I’m not a troll. I love this Film. Watched it so many times . The dialogue is amazing. At the beginning of the film she is reading a book but the camera leans into the pages as she is closing it and the book is upside down.
to anyone who loves the Pride and Prejudice book, I recommend reading the Confessions of Fitzwilliam Darcy. It is the story of Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of Mr. Darcy. It is hilarious and adorable. You can finish it in a day!

I've been married a little over 5 years now, together over 7 years. I can honestly say I fell head over heels for my husband. I didn't want to be apart from him from the day I met him. I knew he was going to be someone extremely significant in my life. Although he's not rich, he showed me what love was. He didn't use fancy words or poems, his actions spoke volumes. Can't live without each other love exists, but it fades in a sense. But what comes after is better. You get love, respect, honor, peace, and comfort. I look forward to my husband coming home from work every day. While I was pregnant with our first, I through out my back and couldn't walk. They rushed me to the hospital and my husband sped to the hospital from work. My mom was with me at the ER and they asked if I wanted my husband to trade off with my mom since he had arrived. I had never said yes to kicking out my mom before lol. The relief I felt seeing him come in was so overwhelming. We both teared up when he asked me if I was ok. The next few days he spent clothing me, helping me get around the house, showering me, and even helping me use the restroom. That's what love is. I would do the same for him in a heart beat. You won't always feel butterflies, but you will feel peace. You won't always feel excitement, but you will feel loved. I'd just like to add, this wouldn't be possible without our faith in Jesus. I know it's thanks to him, we are where we are. P&P is by far one of my favorite movies of all time. ♥

This will sound crazy to say this but my Mr. Darcy, who at first I rejected, was long suffering, and He won me over once the "bad rap" I had of Him was as I learned, quite wrong. And this Mr. Darcy wooed me to Himself, and He desires to do the same for every person seeking truth and love. It is Jesus Christ--- who at first I made fun of, but later I learned He is perfect patience, perfect love, perfect truth, light, and justice. He is also very wealthy, being the Son of God, the Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, the Wonderful Counselor. If women only knew Him, by leaving their pride and prejudice, they would love Him in return. He is coming soon to take those who have received Him, to deliver us from the wrath and judgment to come as prophesied in Revelation. Consider Jesus then, who is the only true God and Savior, proving it when He chose to die so as to shed His perfect blood as a sacrifice so we could have our sins forgiven, for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. I finally was won over and received Jesus into my heart and life and so there is reserved for me and all those who have done such as I, a crown of righteousness and eternal life as His Bride at His side to be in His awesome Kingdom forever. May more people realize this world is in the shadows of what is to come and our enemy tries to keep us in this darkness so we do not see Jesus as the true light of the world. Praise God that we can choose this light of life and be delighted in His loving kindness forever and ever. God bless you with faith in believing in the Gospel message. May more women see Jesus Christ as their Mr. Darcy, Amen!

I always interpreted it as she is still too prideful to admit plainly that her feelings have indeed changed and that she was wrong. She shows him by grabbing his hand but doesn’t say it.

The Special Ones are few by definition, but I'm still asking "can they be more in population, since more of them more happiness everywhere".
It sounds harsh, but if you think about it, good on him for loving people despite not thinking well of them. He's not blind to their faults, but loves them in spite.

This is one of the most remarkable soundtracks ever composed. Just as the film did, Marianelli's music does fit the atmosphere of the book perfectly. This is really beautiful.

I love English period movies. Room with a View, Sense and Sensibilities, Pride & Prejudice, etc. The soundtracks on all of these movies are excellent.

Everyone may not agree on whether the 2005 adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" is a good retelling of the story I do, however, believe that we can all come to the same sentiment. This soundtrack is wonderful in every way.
While there could be a discussion of how true it was to the book, no one can convince me that it wasn't a breath-taking movie in every way. From the acting to the cinematography to the soundtrack, it was exquisite and set the bar very high as a true masterpiece.

Its far superior. The art direction,the music , the undercurrents and layers of family are all merely characterized in the bbc version. Much truer mrs bennet, failed ‘doomed ‘ mr Bennet, desperate charlotte in 2005. If only 2005 had colin firth would have been complete

Pride and Prejudice was the first movie I remember loving that wasn't a cartoon! lol My mom got it for us to watch together in 8th grade and I was hooked. From then on my mom and I would watch all the period dramas we could get our hands on. I can quote the whole thing and still go back to it. I cant even express how much this movie means to me.

I love this scene and music. I actually find the film to be one of my least favorite versions of the story, but I continue to watch it solely for this moment of stellar cinematography and musical composition.
My husband and I had "Liz on Top of the World" for my walk down the aisle and "Mrs. Darcy" as the husband and wife walking down the aisle with a violinist and pianist.

This playlist, and the story of Pride and Prejudice overall, makes me smile and think of the love I have for my boyfriend. He's quite similar in temperament to Darcy; quiet, bordering on taciturn in public, but endlessly tender, devoted and generous with the small circle of people whom he chooses to give his affections to. ❤️
I think I'm slightly closer to Jane than Elizabeth in temperament, but that seems to suit my boyfriend just fine. In fact, he seems to prefer softer, gentler women; we balance each other out in our respective strengths and flaws. 🌷
My husband is also very similar. While I am much more social (as is Elizabeth and I daresay you, as well, lol).

4:01 Lyme Park, Cheshire - worth a visit, it's lovely. Though the long gallery Mr Darcy walked down with his dog while he thought about Lizzie is Sudbury Park. The flooring was covered in woven reeds and they had a really strong smell when we were there. It was a lovely, airy huge room though, I could just imagine the ladies of the day "taking a turn" around it. Lady Catherine's house is Belton House in Lincolnshire.

Pride and Prejudice is a beatiful movie about Mr. Darcy and Liz Bennet with iconic scenes that will take your breath away. The piano music is so relaxing that it enriches ones soul reliving the ambience of the actual scenery in your mind.
The soundtrack for this movie was beyond words. It was simply perfect! 💕

Its music to read books too. Often I read in silence , but some times have music in in the background . I am now. The bird song reminds me of English countryside in spring before global warming.

I thought it was a good idea to listen to this on Valentine's Day, after watching the movie. It wasn't. But I do love this soundtrack. Pride and Prejudice solidified my love for the simple country life. The melancholic music sets the mood to cry about the last month or so. Thank you very much for the music. 🙂🙂
