"MR. BIG Announces March/April 2024 European Farewell Tour
MR. BIG is putting on its signature top hats and old shoes one last time for a worldwide tour, aptly titled "The BIG Finish". Since the band's original drummer and co-founder, Pat Torpey, lost his battle with Parkinson's disease in 2018, MR. BIG now feels it's time to mark the end of this chapter of the group's legacy.

Anyone can probably sing along to this line of lyrics from the global hit “To Be With You”. The accompanying album LEAN INTO IT received a total of 5x gold and 3x platinum and is considered a later milestone for AOR.
With Mr. Big it wasn't and isn't just the excellent songs, because in addition to “To Be With You”, everyone also knows “Alive & Kickin'”, “Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy” and “Green Tinted Sixties Mind”. “. “, but also the almost extraterrestrially good musical performances of the individual musicians. Bassist Billy Sheehan and guitarist Paul Gilbert are true luminaries on their instruments, and drummer Pat Torpey was too until his untimely death. Eric Martin's unmistakable grating voice towers over it.
Luckily the band found an equivalent replacement for Pat Torpey. Nick D’Virgilio will take over the position. He became known in the scene through his brilliant work on Spock's Beard. His advantage: Not only can he drum, but he sings just as well as Pat Torpey, which can be an advantage if you know the band's songs.
In the spring, Mr. Big will come to Germany for the very last time. And of course the four men don't miss it and play LEAN INTO IT in full length and beautifully. It is therefore advisable to take care of tickets in good time.

Thanks for uploading! I was there (3rd row) and in the line when you filmed outside. Fantastic concert, but unfortunately a much too hot venue so that we nearly fainted. Don't know if they ever heard of air-con... But it was amazing nonetheless! :-)

Würde ich mir gegen Geld nicht mehr ansehen. Stinklangweilige Atmosphäre, schlechter Gesang...wie 'ne Party im Altenheim. Aber danke fürs Filmen. Die ersten zwei Minuten waren ja immerhin ok. ^^
