I honestly like the old one more, not so much of a factory production look to it ,more slim handle and forged look on the head are what would buy me.I bet those old ones will worth fortune in couple years
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on these axes, very much appreciated. I will be ordering a camp axe, does the new one have the bulb end option for the handle? Your enthusiasm is infectious and am looking forward to my new adventure on the path of axes. Keep making the videos!
Dang those Hoffman axes are too pretty to use. I have been watching your channel while setting up my new game room and PlayStation 5, thinking if I got those, I’d hang them on the wall and stare at them while I play God of War 😂
I also own a 2022 Camp Axe. great tool.. but if there was one criticism it would be.. all new generation axes look very similar.. because there was less manual labor involved in the process.. there are some new machines in the process of working.. and this affects the. I agree in everything...but i would not call it criticism...i would call it optimize work flow ... Liam can hammer out axes like a mad man to keep up with sales.... So not criticism...just better flow
@@ThomasMartzak I am a Hoffman fan, haven't even watched the video yet. If you have an 870 sq. ft. facility and produce five axes a day (go look at his early videos) how can you not aggravate 4,000 people that want your product next month?
@ThomasMartzak sorry man, didn't mean to rustle feathers. I've forged a few in my time. Yes it's nothing short of work, but christ. All these guys are the same, they only release so many driving up the price. The hipster outdoor growd wiry their cute little CZcams channels aren't help.

The Hoffman axe is just put together like in the old ways...this axe have never had a loose head...never chipped...never broke... Yep, I am not a wealthy man but I will splurge and support a very skilled young man that produces some of the best pieces available. I will not buy from the secondary market. And I didn't really purchase my Hoffmans for me, I got them for my great grandchildren. Yeah, I'm going with that.
Sharpened metal splitting wood. Holy revelations, Batman!
Sure does Robbin 💪
