I appreciate many kinds of good music, I also know all the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great) and other great artists. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. My granny passed away last year and one thing I have left is an Elvis quilt that she made for me. Isn’t it crazy how 3 generations of women are fans of a man like Elvis? "Early Morning Rain" was one of the songs he sing that night, and I'll never ever forget it as long as I live!! I remember that night VIVIDLY!! It's etched in my brain!!! My Dad took me to see Elvis that night, and it's a memory I'll always have, and cherish!!! I miss them both so much!!

Lucky you... in 76' I lived in Warwick, RI and went to Pilgrim HS. At that time I was only 16 and wasn't into Elvis but a few years later I became a fan. I saw Neil Young, Yes, and some othe bands at the Civic Center but boy do I wish now that I'd gone and seen Elvis.
