    Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, I feel it's my duty as a muslim to at least make my brothers and sisters in faith aware of something that they might be unaware of when it comes to halal and haram. I have seen with my own eyes in Domino's kitchen in UK how pizzas are made, cut, packed and how utensils are washed. It all gets cross contaminated with pork and non halal meat and the things used to make non halal food even though you order a vegetarian pizza wallah there's no guarantee that it's halal as it gets cooked in the same over at such a high temperature along with other pork pizzas. Same gloves and cutters are used for preparing vegetarian food. Same applies to McDonald's where I myself worked for few weeks in New Zealand. Sometimes our innocent muslims say we don't have other halal options so we cannot avoid these things in western countries. Well, I have lived in a country where the population of muslims is less than 1% (less than 50,000) and I have lived in the cities where there's either one halal shop or no halal meat at all and Al hamdu lillah by Allah's grace I didn't die and I preferred to buy fruits n veggies and cooked myself and survived.
    It's just a piece of advice in fear of our creator and for the accountability of the Aakhirah, when something haram goes in our bodies, what can we expect to come and what can we expect from our future generations. Ibaadah won't get accepted and supplications won't be answered when one eats non halal as said in various hadeeth . May Allah protect us all

      For muslims who says we don't have halal options please ask them, are there no vegetables available in super market? If they don't have halal meat options can't they stay alive eating vegetarian food made at home? Brother these things are just excuses some people uses to satisfy their desires in the name of "no options"😊

    The biggest issue is that it's not permissible to exert animals to torture or abuse before slaughter which is the case with most if not all the non Muslim meat and if muslims do that too then all of that is haraam.
    In general sense if non muslims slaughter meat without any torture it is permissible according to one opinion but as Jamal badwi and other scholars have said they still prefer to eat meat that is completely done by Muslims but you can't judge those who choose to meat by non muslims (provided it's not beaten first).

    This isn't my personal conviction or interpretation, this is from traditional Islamic scholarship (read: Quran 16:43). This is the Sharia. For example, Sheikh Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari once wrote, "it will not be sufficient to merely pronounce the name of Allah on the meat and then consume it; rather, all the necessary conditions for a valid slaughter must be fulfilled... If one is unable to obtain Halal meat, then one will have to do with fish, vegetables and other types of Halal food."

A lot of people in USA take this hadith and start eating meat from McDonals or KFC etc and think if they say "Bismillah.." then it'll be halal to them. That is absolutely wrong as they are non-Muslims who are serving meat and not Muslims.

    Before forming an opinion, please note that Dr. Jamal did not say fast food outlets such as McDonald is Halal or Harm. He simply brings up the point that “permissible meat” by the “people of the book” is Halal. So, for McDonald to be Halal, it is up to the consumer to find out if the meat supplied is provided by a provider that exclusively employs “people of the book” in charge of the slaughter ie no pagan, polytheist or atheist. Furthermore, it is up to individual to find out if the fast food outlet is contaminating the “permissible meat” with Harm food such as cooking it in Lard or using same grill for “permissible meat’ and pork products such as bacon. May Allah guide us all, and Allah knows best.

Also name of allah or god is not said over it while killing it.

    • @raykazii
      @raykazii Před 10 lety +5

      Walaikum salam brother... I think you misunderstood me.. what you are referring to is zabiha meat. Zabiha meat is perfect but it is not mandatory. If you go through Surah al maida then you will understand what Im saying. In Surah al Maida Allah permits us to eat from the jews and the christians. However yes if we eat zabhiha then Allah will be pleased and if we eat non zabiha then He will not be upset. He does not contradicts Himself. Here in the US i have noticed Indian and Pakistani muslims practice this the most whereas other arabs who also pray 5 times do not worry about it and thats when I resesrched by talking to them and reading the Koran and Sunnah about this particular subject. I can give you irrefutable proof from the Koran and sunnah that we can eat all meats except for the one mentioned in the Koran.. It is very clear. ALhamdollilah I and my family eat as Allah has given us permission.. Islam is a religion of ease and a religion that brings us glad tidings.. it is particulary the muslim from the sub continent that has made it so difficult.. may Allah forgive them for making something so easy into so difficult... I sugggest you also read surah al maida chpt 5 verse 5 or chapt 2 verse 5..

    • @40CalBilal
      @40CalBilal Před 10 lety +3

      Salam brother i understand where you are coming from, i myself live in the united states in new jersey. I know it can be kind of difficult to find halal places to eat from.I myself dont eat meat outside from halal places or zabiha, This is a decision i took about to years ago because meat killed without recognition of allah and his guidelines is haram.. In surah al maida Allah (swt) says:
      Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah.
      Also in surah Al-Anaam 6:121
      And do not eat of that on which Allah's name has not been mentioned, and that is most surely a transgression; and most surely the Shaitans suggest to their friends that they should contend with you; and if you obey them, you shall most surely be polytheists.
      Like i said before the animals are killed with machinery on the skull and they are considered dead meat in arabic Lahma Mayita. They are not slaughtered through incision of the neck and so It is not permissible to eat meat which has been killed by blunt force.
      As for the people of the book, if you look at the kosher way to slaughter, their method of slaughter is very similar to muslim in that they cut the animal at the throat to inflict the least amount of pain to the animal. Also it is required to drain the animal from the blood and they also do the same. That is why it can be permissible to eat meat from people of the book, because their method of slaughter was commanded by Allah(SWT).
      Im arabic and i also tell my friends that the meat is not halal but they dont really seem to care...At the end of the day, if you could do without it brother that would be purer for you.

      @@raykaziiThe secular West’s double standards are glaringly evident from how they deal with “irrationality”. When this so-called irrationality is linked with religion it’s a problem. However, when it comes to things like “gender fluidity” it’s completely fine. Another example that can be mentioned is how the “clairvoyant” Edgar Cayce was extremely popular during the early 20th century.
      And it’s the same story when it comes to aliens. The secular West, unable to fight its innate tendency to believe in the ghayb, proposes the likely existence of a non-human species that could communicate with our world - the same way Muslims believe in the jinn
      Of course, all of this is done in the name of their own religion: science. They even have their own priests in the form of astrobiologists, etc.
      This belief of theirs is of the same nature as ours. Even if they try and add some pseudo-empiricist spice: there may be tangible elements pointing towards the existence of aliens 👽 They fail to grasp how we, too, say there are “tangible elements” regarding the influences of the jinn within our world.*

    As’salam walaikum. It is so confusing.
    I listened to one sheikh b4 this video and he was saying as long as it is a Jew, a Christian or even food prepared by Hindu vegetarian is permissible as long as no shirk as been committed.
    Also McDonald’s is halal, subway is halal, wimpy etc etc... that is misleading ppl when it is not done according to the method of sharia law... from what I understand in the qu’ran if there is nothing to eat n one needs to survive then on that note it’s permissible to eat pork to stay alive and same applies for kosher meat but when halal is available why resort to eating haram? It is haram.
    Do you see a Jew in a Muslim meat shop? No! Exactly that confirms their beliefs are stronger then ours... there should be no compromise in what laws ALLAH has led out for us in regarding to halal in everything.
    I’m not lying... my ex who indulged in haram I never saw barakah instead more claimities... don’t go near a fire it’s only going to engulfed us.... secondly I like to point out that once we start making something that is haram then one by one we make n accept everything is ok to do... so plz I know the scholars only trying to make things easy Cus we reside in western countries n the younger generation is being lost Cus thy can’t understand why thy can’t do this n that but tht does not mean we say it’s ok... rather educate yourself n make oneself familiar with knowledge of Islam the parents to teach to our children... take it as a test from ALLAH for it he will compensate even better. Aameen

      You are committing a bidah by saying that it's haram. The Quran and hadith have clearly shown that we can eat food from people of the book as long as say Allahs name before eating. Nowhere in the Quran and hadith does it say that it has to be slaughtered according to the Shariah. By saying it's haram, you are contradicting Allahs word. If you don't want to eat food from people of the Book, then don't. But don't call it haram.
      The general rule of thumb by Islamic scholars is that everything is halal unless explicitly prohibited by the Quran and/or hadith.

      Even the people who butcher your "halal meat," you don't know anything about them. Maybe those people drink alcohol every weekend and don't offer salah. Maybe in their heart they are Atheists but only work in a halal slaughterhouse because it's their family business or it's the only job they could find. Islam is not complicated. The issue is that we have been indoctrinated from a young age by our elders that this and that is haraam. The Quran has clearly state what is haram. Say bismillah and eat whatever has been made lawful by Allah.

So the Almighty has said: 'O (you) Messengers! Eat of the tayyibat (good things), and perform righteous deeds' [23:51] and the Almighty has said: 'O you who believe! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you' [2:172]. Then he (peace be upon him) mentioned a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty, and who spreads out his hands to the sky saying, 'O Lord! O Lord!' while his food is haram, his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished with haram, so how can [his supplication] be answered?"

    Good answer but I would go further and advise our brothers and sisters to avoid making such fast food as their staple diet. Sometimes out of necessity one has no choice but to eat it, but that would happen once in a long while. Unfortunately the muslims around the world are going against the commands in verses 2: 168 and 172. Allah commands us to eat healthy which I'm sure we all agree fast food is killing mankind. I wish more scholars would educate their followers.

    Unfortunately, it's not a given for the meat in Muslim countries to be halal. A brother who lived in Saudi Arabia told me that he contacted an acquaintance, who worked for a meat slaughtering company, because he doubted the 'halal-ness' of their meat. He found that the company shipped their NON-halal meat to another Muslim country, it was 'certified' halal, then shipped back to Saudi Arabia. Same questionable practices in Turkey, where vendors have been known to mix pork with the 'halal' meat.
