Awesome concise vid! Just bought my 9th Gen, and was thinking of installing leather to replace the cloth seats, and this showed me how easy it is to remove and install. Thanks!!!
@@blackmumba1238 No lmao nothing that I could notice other than a whole lot more road noise. It was funny when I took a "stripped" Honda Accord to the track though.
Thank you for making this video. I own a 2014 Honda Accord EX which I was installing seat covers because I am an Uber driver. Your video helped me painlessly remove the bench and seat back and reinstall them. I wish you has a PayPal on other way to donate money for your videos. Let me know if I can do that somehow.
Thanks! Your video helped me remove the rear seats in my 2018 Accord, basically identical method. I am applying Dynamat sound insulation to reduce the road noise coming into the cabin
hello, how to remove the piece where the 3. brakelight is installed? I want to let tint my rear window and i want them to take out the 3. brakelight so they can tint the whole window.
Your video was detailed and very good. I own a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. Do you happen to know how the carpet can be removed on the 14 accord. I left the moonroof open and it rained heavily. I gave the car in a dealership and they put up fans for couple days and tried to dry the carpet. The carpet is dry now. I think there is still some water left below the carpet as I can lightly hear water flow whenever the car starts from rest. It almost feels like water is trapped between the carpet and whatever is beneath the carpet. If you know a solution to this problem, please advise. Your response will be greatly appreciated.
Excellent video. Do you know if (why) the rear seat would need to be removed just to replace the back shocks? (Honda Accord 2012) Do any of the Hondas need to remove the back seat for shock replacement? Maybe the dealer didn't recognize this was a 2012, and though it was a newer/older model. (They have a really awful service center.)
I needed to know how to do this because when I got my 2013 Accord used, one of the seat belts on the bottom cushion was pushed all the way down and out of reach below the seat cushion.
great video! just noticed my seat back release lever is not working. any ideas?. I've never used that lever before and I bought the car new in March of 2015. would Honda fix it for free?
Great wish I looked at the earlier. Lol my friend told me they lift right up...they don't haha...when I lifted it up the holders ripped out of the foam...now my back seat is in a U shape 😔 Damn I should of just left it alone and left the house keys in there.
What if it’s raining outside and you can’t open your trunk and pull the lever so you can open it from your back seat.... because that’s what is happening right now to me it’s raining so hard outside 🌧
SammyD normaly back seats weights between 30 to 40 pounds. That's good to remove for weight reduction , I did it in muy car, removed the spare tire too
Hello, in the video you initially removed the seat backs (where the headrest is attached), is there a way to remove the seat bottoms without removing the seat backs? Im just wondering because i am planning to install a seat cover for the bottoms. Please reply. Thanks

Thanks Sr. Good there are people like you ready to share with others things that help to solve some problems.
Thank you, I removed these seats for weight reduction today and your video was very helpful.
Did it help at all im doing the same thing

Thank you! This worked for my 2011 Honda Accord.

Thank you for this! I hope the 10th gen is the same! I'm about to go install some seat covers. Thanks again. Very instructional and useful!
reason #5 car camping. great video, thank you!
Your Video is very helpful , Thank you very much from Australia.
Thank you for the excellent video. It saved me a lot of time and trouble.
Your welcome.

Hector Garcia hey quick question after he removed the seat the grey glue stuff do we take that off to add dynamat?
Thank you your method helped me installing my katzkin interior!
Very helpful. Thank you !
Thanks now I know how to install my seats covers
great video, thanks
Thank you for posting this very helpful video!
Your welcome!
Very helpful 👌 thank you
Thanks. Needed to remove for cleaning. Found 32 cents.
how heavy would you say the backseat rests are? (The first portion removed)
great quality video as always
+Vick vick Thanks for the kind words!
now I have to remove the rear seat for weight reduction, very useful video, sub and liked
It won't do much. Maybe minor fuel savings and increased noise in the cabin
Whats the brand of trunk liner and floor mats you have?
Hey Russell, great content :) I was wondering if you could make a video explaining all the fluid under the hood of 2015 Accord!
Thank you very much. I am making a video on how to do that on the 2018 accord

Great video.
Do you have a video on how to take off the carpet in the front of 9th gen?
hi, what's the yellow tool in 2 minutes?
where can I get the same seat cover ?
Do I need to remove the back part in order to remove the seat cushion?
do you have to remove the back portion in order to remove the seat it self? or can i just remove the seat without the touching the back?
Thanks for the video. Super helpful. You just saved me the expensive of a small moving truck for just one long box.
Good-looking OG
For a 2009 honda accord is the same or not
My hybrid doesn’t have seat back releases so how am I supposed to do this
Hello. Does anyone know the part number to the clips found under the bottom rear cushion? I can't seem to find it for the life of me.
The 2017 Accord has a split back rear seat. Still 9th gen accord. So 4 bolts to remove instead of just the 2.
Do you have to remove the back to just remove the bench?
my rear seat doesn’t fold anymore after i pull the lever recently is it broken?
Anyone know how to take out the cup holder from rear arm rest ???
Reason #4, weight reduction baby!
What if its a 60/40 split rear seat?
great video! just noticed my seat back release lever is not working. any ideas?. I've never used that lever before and I bought the car new in March of 2015. would Honda fix it for free?
Yes its under warranty so let them fix.
9th Gen Accord
great. also, how do I choose the right seat covers for this car? I don't want to order the wrong ones. thanks for your help
Edwin Yanez You need to call the maker of the covers and ask them for the proper ones.
Thanks
Can you show how to on a 2015 accord hybrid?
Joe Beach I’m honestly still waiting for this

The lever you show around 1:20 doesn't seem to exist on my new 2014 Accord hybrid...
I have that same problem
What if it’s raining outside and you can’t open your trunk and pull the lever so you can open it from your back seat.... because that’s what is happening right now to me it’s raining so hard outside 🌧
Excellent video. Is there any difference with the 8th gen. "2012"?
Thanks! I have no clue on the 8th gen.
Any idea what the seat weighs? I was going to remove mine from my 2014 Coupe
I have no idea.
This video is for the sedan only. There aren't any locking tabs on the coupe's rear seat. It just pops up in two places.
SammyD normaly back seats weights between 30 to 40 pounds. That's good to remove for weight reduction , I did it in muy car, removed the spare tire too
Five years onwards…. Can we ask where those two places are, just bough leather seat covers… Regards…
I think it's good 😊 to do that
Which it was actually a 60/40split seat tho.
would these seats fit in a 1998 honda civic
+Chris Strough I don't think so.

9th Gen Accord is this on honda city 2017
Just removed seats for a 2010 Acura TSX, 90% of the same process. Just 12 mm bolts are easier to access in the beginning.
What if you can’t open the trunk
What! no spare change under there!!! Geez. : )
Reason #6. you totaled out the quarter panel and brought it to me to replace. Dont want to burn holes in the seat with the welder.
Honed hrv how
Number 4 weight reduction for track use 😂
Remove interior light from Honda Accord
The front is four bolts.....needs no explanation.
Reason 4. I want to wash them. 😅
Do you even lift bro? No, no you don't
hi, what's the yellow tool in 2 minutes?
You can get a set from amazon or from a local auto store. You can use a screwdriver, but you can also damage them that way.
