That stung when ya'll was talking that smack about Sylveon. I love it. Dusty brought up an interesting point though. What is the fairy type? I've always thought the type was based around charm, and being enchanting.
Your tier lists are always enjoyable because it's refreshing to hear other fans' opinions! That being said, HARD disagree on Sylveon's placement. One of my top 3 Eeveelutions, up there with Espeon and Umbreon.
When they first revealed it along with the Fairy-type back in 2013, I knew that it was instantly going onto my team. It's the textbook image of what a Fairy-type would look like! Super strong too. Just wish it was faster!

The very beginning of the video I was laughing so hard about his rant on Quality over Quantity, and how gens 6 & 4 are the worst in his opinion, then by the end of the video everything is in A tier.

I more or less disagree with there being no post game in Kalos. There was the Battle Chateau and Hotel Richisimme, and Sushi High Roller. If you're into battling and making money, you could battle and fill out food orders at Hotel Richisimme. And you can grow berries, battle the bugs that come to eat the berries, water and care for the berries, get a bountiful harvest of berries, and start your garden all over again. Or you can spin in a circle for ten hours, being bored and uncreative. I prefer to travel the region at my leisure and explore to my heart's content. ❤️💛🗼🏝️🌱🍃
I wasn’t a huge Sylveon person until in PLA, I found the smallest Eevee, nicknamed him Tiny, and evolved him into Sylveon. Tiny was so powerful and saved me in the final fight of the game, when all seemed lost (So glad I recorded that gameplay; it’s legit INSANE!). Tiny is on my canon team now, and he forever holds a spot in my heart. 💖

Some of these takes were actually killing me. Spewpa, Skrelp line & 3rd stage Kalos Starters r too high. Pyroar's in A/B when it's 1 of the most disappointing considering that it's the 1st true lion🦁 design. Couldn't stand Braxien, Goodra & Sylveon slander. So many disagreements (more than usual), but it's all well & good opinions 🙂
I don't know about S tier, but Spewpa is really cool for a middle stage, I gave it a high A. Other than that though I getcha.
@@malmasterson3890 I haven't heard anybody talk about Spewpa so passionately b4. I guess I don't hear ppl talk about it period cuz it's 1 of the more forgettable mid stage. It's not even memorable & standout amongst other cocoons in Pkmn. It just looks like a Scatterbug covered in its silk & confetti to make it appear different when it's not.
@lipika2841 I get where you're coming from, but there's plenty of worse ones imo; a lot of middle stages in gens 5 & 9 are pretty worthless for example. I think pokemon has too many in general, but I always liked Spewpa for it's in game animations & most people I've seen think it's cool.

X was my first mainline game and i had lot's of fun.
Before i only had spin-offs, the anime and merch to go off of (and on a veeery rare occasion when i was a wee lil' goblin i yoinked my sisters ds with pearl to test how it feels to play a game like it, (she never willingy allowed me when honestly asking) but i copied her mons onto my My Pokemon Ranch and Pokemon Battle revolution). And although skipping gen 8 for cringe reasons, i've been here now ever since.
I got my first i think-full-odds shiny accidetnally bred in it. Ma' baby boy Noibat who's name i can't still decide on. 🦇💚
For some reason, i developed an obsession with frogadier through the anime and i think it's jsut because the german voice actor did a subjectively very cool job. And Amphizel sounds neat in general.

I genuinely don't understand this whole rule 34 thing with Braixen. It doesn't look tidy enough, it's super dirty, super messy, and it's nowhere near as elegant and beautiful as Gardevoir or even Mewtwo. Just because it's got a fox tail, which we all know where it's stuck into?

Oh nice! Glad I caught this early. Gen 6 if we're looking purely at the designs themselves is my no. 1 generation. Shoutout specifically to Aegislash & it's line; maybe not the perfect pokemon, but definitely a flawlessly executed design imo.
I've been wanting to play X and Y ever since the games were announced and even more because of Tyrantrum. Never played them because I could never afford a 3DS/DS so 10 years later my brother let me borrow his 3DS that was gifted to him and months after my best friend sent me a copy of X they found for my birthday. The game is so good already and I just got the Tyrantrum the other day I've always wanted for 10 years 😃
Not gonna lie I grinded the beginning of this game until I evolved my Fennekin into Braixen before the first gym and then put it down and never touched it again 😂 never even got a badge. All I wanted was Braixen and then I felt fully accomplished. I think it's time I go back and revisit Kalos 🤔

That's how I was with Chespin. Honestly the starters made me think this gen was a lot worse than it was, but then I actually made a tier list last year for all of them and realized how baller this dex is.
Chespin's line os really good to use in the Kalos region. Then you get Charmander to get Charizard and you get a good Water type to fit things in and its a good combo.
The number system doesn't really work because if you decide something is S you make thing its value is more than just one point above A.
Quilladin is one of the worst middle stages, mascot man is real.
It's a tear in the tapestry of gen 6. I really hate it lol.
Barbaracle gets some appreciation, good.

The problem with Delphox I've always had is it was truly the start of the trend of one Pokemon starter ending up being furry bait which is why I think it's a bad design. That and it's too humanoid in appearance.

It is a smaller amount of dex numbers added, but it's not that much of a smaller number of new designs.
There's no sense not including Megas when talking about "pokemon added in generation 6"
Gen 6 is the only Gen that I still have a strong dislike to this day that I had for it when it came out.
I'd always heard that opinion that Kalos gave us few new pokemon, but all the designs are solid, some called it the best generations design-wise. And I had agreed with that statement not being able to remember a single Kalos pokemon that disturbs me.
But one day I was playing in the comment section (or maybe it was on then-Twitter) and suddenly decided to count all the fully evolved pokemon I like for each generation. Turned out, in Kalos there were only two: Mega Charizard Y, Mega Mewtwo Y. Than I included pokemon with ok designs that I liked stat- and lore-wise: just Aegislash😂. So, Kalos was pretty bad.
Btw, I was wrong. Pangoro disturbs me. That mouth stick is so nasty🤢🤮
I was the exact opposite. I didn't give Kalos the time of day until last year when I tiered them against every generation just like this. That's when I realized Kalos is fucking baller when you get past the starters.😊

I’m so disappointed with your takes on Aromatisse… while I do want a poison/dark variant plague doctor theme for both you have to appreciate them for what they are. Spritzee is a perfume bottle and Aromatisse is a burlesque can-can dancer known for their over use of perfume.

What if all mega evolution was is it ripping the DNA from past paradox versions and future paradox versions of the Pokemon. That's why it's symbol looks like a DNA strand
I so agree with Dusty on 3D models feeling like how imagine pokemon in my mind. I remember quitting playing Y during my first ever playthrough because of visual overload. It was super weird after getting used to mainly using my imagination and not paying too much attention to the actual graphics. But, gotta be honest, the first time Pokémon felt completely real to me was Scarlet and Violet. Not even Sword and Shield, because of all the dummy cities with like 3 accessable buildings and the rest being just a decoration. And the Wild Area was a little empty. Though I still love it so much.
Gen 6 was definitely something. Really hope we get to see king AZ again at some point
Goodra S+ TIER
I like XY. I just feels like it needed more. Like it was unfinished.
Every pokemon shouldve had a mega, not just the favorites (and Audino).
We needed a Z version to wrap things up. I feel like the Zygarde collection thing in Sun and Moon was remnants of what shouldve been in Z version.
Also, to this day, im still not sure about Fairy type. I think i wouldve liked a Light type instead and it kinda upsets me that its not likely we are ever getting a light type because Fairy already fills that role.

Like i can understand legendaries and psuedo legendaries not needing megas because they are already strong but why not others? Especially those that arent realy viable otherwise.
What i liked about dynamax and z moves, was that all pokemon had access to it.
What i didnt like about megas, was that only roughly 30ish pokemon could access it. But it made me want to actually use pokemon like Beedrill and Pidgeot on semi competitive teams.
How would you fix the mega gimmick? What makes you feel like its bad?

I personally liked megas, so i would like to see it expanded. Possibly changed to make it a little less OP, like how Dynamax is only for 3 turns. Something like that.
Since pseudos already have megas, i think it would only be fair to just give it to all of them at this point. Kinda the same with legendaries, but be very selective with them.
Like no reason Articuno and Suicune couldnt get a mega. Their bases stats are lower then pseudos.
When gen 6 was announced… Chespin and Froakie were my favorite stage 1 starters of all gens… but in my opinion when the evos got leaked Chesnaught took the crown and still holds it for the worst final stage. I think Chesnaught, Intelleon, and Cinderace are the worst looking final stage starters. But that’s just me.

the way to describe fairy type at best is like the emotion specifically love becuz weirdly enough love is the most prominent emotion and is being used as an elemental the most like the element of love as a whole where its not girlie stuff more so like the emotion itself like hearts and care and the gentleness of it. like how ghost is like the element of spirit like the spiritiual aspects and connection

Seems pretty accurate to me. I think is moreso that everything ends up crammed in the middle a lot cause that's just the nature of opposing positions.
This one makes perfect sense to me, I used to be the same as Soul almost where I didn't even really think about Gen 6 as a good dex until I actually made my own tier list for each Gen in one go. That made me realize this dex slaps hard.

@@HiddenPowerPodcast i think I get it. Some pokemon designs lean heavily towards one or another gender. Kind of like MMY looks hella feminine, Rhydon is super masculine, and Alakazam makes NO SENSE as a female.
