I like the fact that the characters had love at first sight, and the actors had friendship at first sight. It's so cute, and plays a big part in the amazing chemistry you can feel in the show.

who'd a thought...a month ago I would have said Love Victor would have been the [current] best advertisement for the LGBTQ+ community on the planet....fast forward to July 2021 and Love Victor looks more like a 'polished version of gay life' through the lens of some conservative right winged evangelical group.........Young Royals has to be the best depiction of gay life thus far on any platform....I would rate it higher than season 3 of Skam....which has been, until today the bench mark I compare all gay themed story lines.....
My hope would be season 2 beginning with Wilhelm denouncing the Queen's wishes and as August paraphrased for the 'late' Erik...........

As for Edvin starting a revolution with Omar....it would be a disappointment for the story to take any other tack......any other vision would deny the entire strength of both Edvin and Omar's characters.....being this isn't an American series......maybe the LGBTQ+ community takes a win on this one.

I have this obsession for this serie I've watched it 4 times it's starting to get unhealthy-
Besides their chemistry as on set lovers and off set 'Friend Best', their laughs are soo contagious. Omar has a voice of an angel therefore even his laugh sounds angelic and adorable, then there's Edvin with his loud ass dorky laugh- it just suits them. I'm sinking with the WilMon Ship, ignore me whilst I wait for season 2 at the bottom of the ocean. See you all Next year (Hopefully, if Netflix doesn't mess up).
The most important sentence in the whole series: "But we did not do anything wrong."
Do consider the Ines both speak in an interview, referencing the meting of the two at casting,'we found each other' WOW

I’ve become so obsessed that I’m watching it with Swedish subtitles. I always watch foreign series/movies in their original language with English dubs or subtitles. I watched it so much with the English dubs/ subtitles that I pretty much know what they’re talking about using the Swedish subtitles. Learning some words here and there 😉🥰

I think what makes it different speaking as a fan of BL series Korean Thai Vietnamese American Japanese etc...it's a true love story..there is no reluctant school boy or office worker who keeps the other person on tender hooks while they decide if they are ready .. I respect anyone who feels the need for time to see how they truly feel
before starting a more intimate relationship!! But sometimes it's a little drawn out...haven't quite understood why. There are some fantastic BL series and movies too!!
This is realistic..a down to earth love story about coming of age!! One of my favourites with the same topic was I told the Sunset about you and I promised you the moon!! Both Very different story lines but excellent and beautiful producing Directing super acting!!
Look forward to watching this on Netflix!! Fantastic job by the very young cast!! Season 2 a must!!!❤️
